WHEN is a bicycle not like other bicycles? To begin with, when it has no brakes, or at least no visible brakes, or possibly just a front brake. That means you can’t ride this bike very well on your first try, and certainly not very gracefully, easily or safely.

Riding these bikes takes practice. I was able to ride Mark’s bike yesterday and it felt “just like riding a bike,” with the control of your speed without brakes. Learning to stop on the dime will take me some mileage to get down. It was pretty cool, I can see how people can get hooked on these bikes. They bring out your style, skill, finesse, aggression and awareness.

WHOA whoa whoaa… all I can say. Wait.. I can say the Warriors have proved Sir Charles incorrect when he predicted Dallas in 5. We’ll see what happens on Tuesday. For now, 2007 Winter Nike CB4s. Get some. More photos here.

The Rally kicks off on Sunday April 29th. This year the route is fromd London to Frankfurt, fly cars to Athens, then drive back to London via Serbia. C16 reporter and Fatlace Blogger Jarod DeAnda will be documenting from Day 1 of the race, check out his blog daily to see what’s going on.. He’ll be running shotgun with Gumball Boss, Max Cooper, in a car that we think actually tops the Ferrari in full General Lee regalia he rode in a couple of years ago.
