So what’s so special about 7/7/2007 anyways? It’s just a number, right? Well, we were planning on having our grand opening that day but instead of rushing, we’re planning on taking our time to build out something complete. It’s only a day anyways. So our new launch date is the Saturday on the weekend of 7/20/2007 with a possible pre-party that friday. A more resonable one for our contractors and architects and works well with our schedule. Our design was polished and is being brought to life by the fine folks at Form 3. Expect to see some great things coming out of the camp this year forward…
As part of its ongoing year-long celebration of the Air Force 1’s 25th anniversary, Nike recently revealed the new Air Force 1 East Coast Collection in the new Nike Sportswear Pavilion at Nike Toronto, 110 Bloor West in Downtown Toronto.
The pavilion features a large scale installation detailing the relationship between NYC, Philly, Baltimore and the AF1. The collection features a series of specially detailed and crafted AF1¹s that pay homage to AAU programs, local parks, and the three cities that were key to the rise of Force. A stylized representation of the I-95 highway travels thru the room to tie all the stories together.
