21 Mercer Opening Party.

In less than 4 hours the opening party of all openings will start. You’ll have to be one of the lucky few who were invited but Nike Sportswear has gone all out to open up their very first flagship door by taking up the entire block and setting up what looks to be a mini-stadium.

For those that can’t make it, check out the live webcast happening on 3 channels.

Nike Halloween Court Force Pack

nike-halloween-cf-1.jpg

Halloween is still over a month away but here’s a gear up to Nike’s customary tribute to the world of ghouls and goblins. This Court Force Pack features the conventional Halloween colors black, orange and yellow. Some interesting aspects that brings flash to the shoes include the use of pebble print and snakeskin panels. Although not seen, the lining includes references to bats and skulls. Look for a drop in the near feature.

Billionaire Boys Club Hong Kong

bbc-hong-kong-store.jpg

On the heels of the recent grand opening of a Billionaire Boys Club location in Hong Kong comes a further look into the masterfully designed 3 story shop. The architecture was left to the guidance of Japanese design firm Wonderwall whose long list of clients include the likes of A Bathing Ape, Uniqlo, and Colette. The first two floors are devoted to an ice cream parlor theme while the 3rd floor encompasses outer space. Once again, a visually stunning piece of design from the team at Wonderwall.

Charles Barkley “Alpha Force” Air Force 1’s

rtemagicc_nike_barkley_alphaforce.jpg

Charles Barkley is one of the most outstanding NBA players of all time. Thus it is to no-ones surprise that Nike will bring out with him a pretty large line-up of Air Force 1’s as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the shoe.

Here we present you one of the most interesting and at the same time exciting releases of that collection - the “Alpha Force” AF1.

“Starting at the bottom of the tongue, the horizontal strap is that of the Alpha Force II. One of the last Nike Force shoes that Barkley wore before being granted his own signature line. Going up the tongue, you will see lace holes at the top like that of the Air Force V - one of the most sturdy basketball shoes made to date. Lastly, at the top of the tongue is the circa 1990 “Air Force” logo with the basketball again from the early Air Force products that Barkley wore.” Via Nice Kicks.

There is no exact release date so far, but expect these to come out some time in October.
