Team Fatlace: Final Fight @ Irwindale Top 32

With both Walker and Matt having great qualifying runs last Friday, we were all excited see our drivers go to battle in the Top 32 this past weekend. Walker and Matt have been driving awesome all season long and i’m sure they both wanted to go out swinging. The anxiety was killing me waiting for the Top 32 to start…

Matt and Chris Forsberg were up first. Matt was driving extremely well both leading and chasing but Forsberg eventually advanced to the Top 16. I thought it was going to go at least one more time.

Walker was going up against Daren McNamara again in another Top 32 battle. While leading, Walker clipped the wall and just kept going creating distance from McNamara. But while chasing, Walker went alittle too gangster and ended up into the wall.

The entire Fatlace crew are extremely proud of both Matt and Walker for what they were able to accomplish this past season. We all look forward to what 2012 brings! Hopefully we see Matt and Walker at some of our local drift events during the off season. See you guys around! Again, great job this season!
