Derek Keota’s 2011 Subaru STi

I had quite a bit of downtime to wander around the Slammed Society Showcase that took place a couple weekends ago in Long Beach CA, and I came across this STi. There was just something about this car that made me circle around it a couple times… maybe it was the Tiffany Blue Rotiforms, or the subtle aero, i dunno exactly. it just stood out to me and just had to take pics of it.

Laguna Niguel resident Derek Keota is the owner of this fine vehicle. I had the pleasure of meeting up with him this past Wednesday right after he got off work and we started to wander around his hometown looking for a chill spot for his shoot.  I dont know how many of you are familiar with Laguna Niguel, but damn! Everywhere i looked, that city is so well maintained and clean. If you guys wanna drive to a place where you can shoot a car with great scenery, check this area out.

Now, I already know that some of you will think it is sacrilege to see a STi in such a form. But let me vouch for Derek and his driving habits. “Low and slow,” you say??? No, more like low and slow down! While we were rolling around Laguna Niguel, a few times where he’d drive off and leave me behind! WTF? I was also  asking him a little background on his car and he was telling me that he wants to incorporate everything into one… both function and form. So yea, he has the wheel fitment, but he still has enough space to have passengers and drive as fast as his heart desires.
