UPCOMING EVENTS

UFC 146 Weigh-Ins

I had the unique opportunity to check out the UFC 146 weigh-ins before the fight on Saturday. The all heavyweight main card lived up to the anticipated hype with many of the fights finishing with a knockout or submission. It was quite the Memorial Day weekend in Vegas full of MMA action and after hour parties. If you follow me on Instagram (@john_pangilinan) then you may have seen the adventure from the weigh-ins, food fest, Steve Aoki and Lil Jon (more to come) and Stereo Saturdays at Lavo w/ DJ Reflex and Sean Kingston.

Warning – Spoiler Alerts and Half-naked dudes below.

Dan Hardy got his first victory in a long time with an impressive victory in the final round.

Jason “Mayhem” Miller lost in a boring match against CB Dollaway, which also looks to be his last match in the UFC immediately getting cut after some post-match antics.

Jamie Varner got the victory over the rising star Edson Barboza.

Big Country defeated Dave Herman after showing his dynamite in his hands.

Big Foot Silva made his UFC debut, but was destroyed by the former champion, Cain Velasquez.

The champion, Junior dos Santos proved why he was the champ defeating Frank Mir unleashing his boxing skills to pick apart the jiu-jitsu expert and former champ.

An empty Octagon…thanks Toyo for the experience.
