Photo: Ken “East3” Nishimura (shown on the far right) made a recent appearance on KHON 2 News, Hawaii to speak about the Not Even Once Mural Project.

Muralist and organizer Ken Nishimura and the Hawaii Meth Project (HMP) have partnered together in an anti-meth movement which utilizes art to connect with Hawaii’s youth. The Not Even Once Mural Project (NEOMP) is an educational and artistic approach to educate youth about the dangers of methamphetamine usage.

Did you know that…
• Meth use among 10th graders in Hawaii has increased 87% from 2005 to 2007.
• Hawaii ranks #3 nationally for meth-related treatment admissions.
• Law enforcement cites meth as #1 drug threat to Hawaii.

Illest is proud to announce that we’ve joined them in the fight against this epidemic! Please help us by being proactive towards guiding our youth towards a positive drug free future! Mahalo!
