When my mom was visiting NYC this weekend, she ran into Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco. Lupe was apparently very friendly, and even took the time to talk to my mom. An avid politcal activist, Lupe’s next album will focus around social issues and will undoubtably feature Lupe’s trademark metaphor-heavy lyricism.
