and the Fatlace Wall Contest Winner is…
Stefan Dukaczewski’s “WE LACE SF” concept and overall campaign. Boy did Stefan come correct with this campaign around the motto, “WE LACE SF”. SF, aka STAY FRESH, aka SAN FRANCISCO. From the wall, to Tshirts, to Skateboards.. design students take some notes here. I will be working with Stefan on an upcoming project and I’m real excited to see this design come to life in the Spring/Summer 2010.
Stefan Dukaczewski is a multi-disciplinary designer based out of Montreal Canada. Since 2001, he has worked on compelling projects within the spectrum of design for clients both locally and internationally, under the guise of MSTRPLN.

I knew my man Stefan would come correct. Congrats dude.
The colors and 80’s style gradient is radical, atta boy!

Thanks for the feedback, looking forward to seeing this all come to life!
fresh and clean design. the colors “pop” nicely and the use of laces throughout the pattern is very well executed…can’t wait to see it. great work!
The actual graphic will be semi easy to apply as long as it is some sort of wall paper or even decal. The lettering seems like the more difficult thing but if you go to some signage place and maybe get it cut out in metal, that would look sick.
metal dimensional letters would be cool! the only thing i could think of is maybe put them higher up on the wall if you do use them so people dont run into them and hurt themselves or the display
Nice design and presentation. The gradient blends seamlessly. I’d like to see a little more kerning among the type. Congrats!
I’m diggin that design. Very clean.
