LBC pt.2 Proper, Cie Studios, Alpinestars
Today I felt alive once again. Being fortunate enough to have met a ton of people throughout my career as a designer, driver, and fan has only encouraged me to push harder to be the best.
Long Beach has become a place where alot of friends call home. Whether its their studio’s or their work spaces, I find alot of things in common amongst them. They’re all driven and grounded.
One of the people I alway visit when I come to Long Beach is Tristen from Proper. He’s one of the most down to earth people I know and not only has mad knowledge about the game we call “streetwear” but his other love and passion for cars has led to many hours of chat and conversations.

Getting my VANS on from Proper.

Headed to CIE Studios to meet up with Alan and Rich. Had lunch with them at some burger joint.

Their view was great. They can watch the entire Long Beach Grand Prix from the entire floor.

@AndyDisa jumped in John XB with me: @markarcenal and we headed to Alpinestar, one of my favorite companies in motorsports.

They had a ton of branded cars. And although Alpinestars started in Europe, they’ve become a Global Brand servicing riders from all corners of the Earth.

YES, this is Danica Patricks Suit. It looked like it was used in a race. (NO, I didn’t smell it although the thought crossed my mind for some odd reason). I was really looking for Jensen’s suit but it wasnt around.

Alpinestars getting their casual wear down.

Jordan X Alpinestars Prototype. I’m still a HUGE Jordan 1-23 Fan.

And the man that made it possible was our good friend Chris Hull. I’ve known Chris for years since the days of Vapors and finally got to see him face to face at the DC event. Ken Block is sponsored by Alpinestars. Anyways, when we walked into the office we noticed a good friend from the past who was visiting their offices. Stay tuned for some good stuff from the brand as well as a colab.
Headed back to Johns house. Thanks for the hospitality. Will be back soon..

Oh and I got my Jensen Button on. Watch me this year as I light up Infineon’s Karting Track with my rad FIA Approved Nomex Alpinestars Racing Shoes. Again, be on the lookout for the future of Fatlace X Alpinestar.
