Sema 2009 x Garage Life

Our newest channel Garage Life, which is in beta mode, will be soft launching this week with coverage from Sema 2009. The channel is basically about all things automotive with special coverage and the obsession with garage life. We’ll be covering everything from European, American, and Japanese car lifestyle.

Is this gonna be in association with the well known Japanese magazine Garage Life which also covers automotive and garage lifestyle? Just thought I’d give you the heads up. Good luck with the launch, and looking forward to seeing some nice content, although the name isn’t very original.
Obviously youre not from Nikko Publishing as Im good friends with the guys who put out Garage Life magazine Japan (http://fatlace.com/stayfresh/mark/2007/01/17/kenta-neko-publishing-mcclaren/) – this is a tribute to my favorite magazine of all time.
Seriously with the brakes on that car? You can’t put huge wheels with an open design on a car and not put bigger brakes on.

thank god this channel is finally open. I remember when the garage life button said “coming soon” even before the site was revamped. this was like before the online store was open. the wait is finally over

I’d say we’re original. We started our site in 1999 and were the first in many aspects of what we’re into.
First to bring the Ruckus scene, years into track/fix scene, drifting scene since 98, co-brands with everyone from Nike to alpinestars to Japanese denim companies.
Funny about the watches.. They really work.

Hi there, this is the original poster. I did not post under hellaunoriginal so don’t think I’m trying to start a flame war, If I did I’m sorry. I thought I asked a pretty legitimate question considering that Fatlace has collaborated with various companies in the past. I wasn’t a total ass about it, just coy. In addition I wished luck with the launch, since I check this site, I must be a fan. Mark’s answer to my rant was legitimate with proof and I ate my words, good comeback sir. Anyways although I still think the name is a little too close for comfort even for a tribute, its not my site or say in the matter. I’m anticipating some good content coming from all of this. That’s all. Thanks & enjoy sema.
