The 2009 NZDRIFT champ probably has the best fitment I have seen on a RX8 that is tracked. Before this event, he had P.P.R.E re-tuning the 20b monster Bridgeport HKS T51R turbo set-up to amazing 666.6hp @ the wheels on a reliable 13psi of boost through the Turbosmart eboost 2. Six could be his good number, lol.
He came to the event in #2 in points, and came out of it winning the series, very impressive.
Dope, side skirt dragging and what not.

Congrats Mike on the 7 out of 9 podiums this year! Good luck next year.

Rear bumpers are definitely over-rated and not necessary. Especially when your side skirts touch the ground.
Or if it fell off while drifting. Its always cool for it fall off while drifting.
I usually never ever like RX-8’s… But if they all looked this clean with the wheel fitment and the widebody and last but not least boosted I would own one right this second!!!!
he rocks
That’s bad ass hahah! The stance is crazy.
dopest rx8 out there
I’m with FG-SI on this one. I almost always hate these things I feel like they where a bad way to follow the RX7 (R.I.P.) but there are a few that catch my eye, and this is now my favorite.
I love me some RX-8’s (wait until you see whats in store for my next build…..which will be an RX-8), and this one has always been a prime example of the car. Good s**t!!!!
what’s the point of drifting with out the rear bumper, it looks pointless to me, poor car!
it fell off stupid ass
My boy jhooks be grumpy haha!!
This car normally runs a rear bumper that sits about 10mm off the ground… the bumper has fallen off jodomo you dork!!!
New Zealand represent!!!!
im not a fan of rx-8’s but this one is gangster.
anybody see his old car, a quad rotor rx-7??

His RX-7 is pretty ill. I like that too..
It takes a lot to make an RX8 look good. Mike has achieved this, with room to spare!
cam any one tell me what rims he has!!!
Work Equip, Work Meisters He has a selection of rims for this car.
18×11 front 18×12 rear
Mike’s driving is radtown. And to those that aren’t drift-oriented, aero is a wear item in drifting. It’s just something you come to accept once you get to that level
