Sunday I arrived at the Balai Kartini, yeah Kartini it sounds like a car cocktail 1 part Sinatra 1 part Vodka a dash of penetrating oil and Nitrous chaser, anyways I got there at about 2:30 pay the entry fee 50,000Rp about $5.50 and they hand me a program a magazine and a pack of smokes. That’s right every attendee is handed a pack of cigarettes upon entry and you can smoke’m inside. Now I don’t smoke so I wasn’t thrilled but I see the reasoning in allowing smoking inside in a country where 70% do and downpours can happen any minute as I experienced Saturday.
As I entered my local contact Fredikka (Freddy) from Hawk’n’poke.com was waiting for me.
This is what I was hoping to see Flush rides of all types everywhere tucked, dropped, slammed, and flared, it was here. Killer beats in the back from some serious JBL stacks, loud enough to hear but easy to talk over. The lighting was great for pics, so as Freddy started filling me in on the scene I started shooting.

– or any of this inside.

The KOG team came with a nice spectrum of cars as well

They are very team oriented here each team set up their area with their own style many had couches and PS3’s one had a pool table these guys brought a foosball table, anything to keep from going stir crazy when your spending 2 days in a room with a few hundred other people

Overall I loved the atmosphere the music and the people I just wish I could have stayed longer I heard they didn’t shut it down till 3am Monday morning. Maybe next time.

Special Thanks to Freddy of hawknpoke.com/ for the info and the help cuz I wouldn’t have been there otherwise.
And to Rendy, Furqan and the whole KOG(Your Own Creation) team for giving me a place to chill and making me feel at home.
