My name is Johnson, 24 years old, born and raised in the UK and I’m a new blogger for Fatlace. Before I go flying into things I got to admit, this is kind of weird for me because Fatlace and Illest were just brands I admired for the culture and content in the car scene and in recent years via Instagram with a certain lifestyle that you don’t see here in the UK. What i’m also trying to say is, the US looks awesome, to me anyway. I’ve always had a slight fondness with America and it is one place I have yet to visit, but the chance to hasn’t come by just yet so my fingers are crossed for the near future.
I graduated from university last year as a Product Designer where I then continued to take some time off and spend the following months looking to work closely in the Formula 1 industry where I now work as a carbon fibre design engineer. With common interests in Formula 1 with Mark, It was actually via Instagram where the opportunity to blog for Fatlace came about when Mark asked me if I would like to give Fatlace some UK coverage.
I’d describe myself as a guy that loves a lot of things, knows a little about most things but wants to learn more about anything that’s cool, fun, interesting and unique. My head is constantly ticking with ideas, projects, taking liking and interests to brands which is why blogging for Fatlace is an honour and glad to be a part of it and I hope to bring some decent content from myself here in the UK.
So sticking to my closest interest, Formula 1, I’ll leave you with a few images of my all time favourite Formula 1 car from 1986, the Lotus Renault 98T and a picture of me with Lotus’ more recent 2011 F1 cars. The ‘Turbo Era’ Renault powered Lotus with the legendary JPS livery is no doubt a classic in which I got to see several times blast up the hill at Goodwood close to my home. These pictures were taken in 2012 at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Enjoy and thank you for reading.
