Right in the middle of Shibuya and Harajuku is where W BASE Bicycle Garage calls home. I’d say this heavily influenced BMX shop is one of the most complete shops I’ve ever been to specializing mostly on BMX. From Old School NOS to their own brand of WBASE bikes, they can pretty much complete any bike of your era. Rip introduced us to his brother MOTO (who’s real name is Moto! can you say destiny?) who runs the shop and showed us a few back and forth sessions on his custom made 20″ MW Titanium BMX (MotoWorks because of his favorite car, BMW). This bike sports a really rare 1984 plastic wheel up front with their own MW branded titanium frame. Also notice the Titanium spokes.. Sweet. Here’s a lil preview of Moto at work on his 20″.
