Anyways, these are the grooves that are gonna hold me down today – x James Pants’ Chart-Toppers. Spokane-based DJ/Producer James Pants teamed up with fellow Stones Throw labelmate, DâM-FunK, to produce this excellent mix of 70′s & 80′s disco/boogie/funk/soul intertwined with original Pants and Funk beats. Each track has its own unique sound ranging from soulful crooning to infectious disco dance beats, but the way the whole CD is cut up and mixed is perfection.
