A few months ago I spotted a couple of boot straps floating around on the internet and last week, I finally bothered to sit down and make a pair for myself! I should’ve done this ages ago since it ended up only taking me like max. 15 minutes!

Crushin': Uffie + Her First Video
I remember being out at the club one night and hearing this cutesy voice rapping bad ass lyrics over electro beats. I ran up to the DJ booth to find who it was, and the next day I scoured the internet for all things Uffie. I immediately developed a major girl crush on her, not only is her music fun, but she’s got great style.

More about Uffie & her first music video for “Pop the Glock” after the jump. . .

Nails Did: Fall Colors
I’ve always had a thing for dark polishes, I remember when Chanel put out Vamp and I had to have it. During the Summer I try to mix it up with neon polishes, but honestly I rather wear black polish all year round. Well, Summer has come to end and it’s time to darken up the nails again. Here are some of my must have colors for Fall….

STUSSY x LadyLike. One Contest. Two Winners.
**CONGRATULATIONS**
WINNER A
1) Name/Age/Location
Pamela/17/NY
2) What’s your favorite piece from the Stussy Fall Women’s collection?
The Leah Grommet Dress because of it’s versatility. You could wear it up or down and the circular studs on it just makes the dress pop even more. They make it a little more edgy and I like that in clothing.
3) What would you like to see more of on Ladylike?
Definitely more outfit posts! They give me ideas for my own wardrobe and outfits.
WINNER B
1. Nicole/21/Temecula, CA
2. My favorite piece is the Distronic Satin Bomber Jacket .
3. I would like to see more features about stylish women/men like the post about Siena Fleming or showcasing random street style on
LadyLike.
Yup that’s right! Stussy Women’s and LadyLike are letting TWO lucky winners take home either one of these sets from the (ready to wear) Stussy Women’s 2009 Spring/Summer accessories collection:

Outfit Post: Layered in Mesh
I bought the American Apparel Mesh Dress so long ago, but honestly haven’t put it on once. It’s an awesome dress, but hey not all of us are built like Rhianna. So why not throw it under something? The weather is getting colder and it’s all about finding new ways to layer, without looking like a potato sack. The mesh dress layering possibilities are endless, such as going under a dress or a cropped tee. The dress comes in bright colors as well, so it’s a great way to pop some neon into you dark wardrobe.

Outfit Post: Hint of Leopard
Animal prints, especially leopard, has been coming back big time this season. Leopard print can be a bit scary and you may think it might be hard to incorporate into your wardrobe but really, it’s quite simple. It’s easy to go a bit overboard with leopard print so pairing it with solid colours or toned down items is key.

Outfit Post: Military Style
If you’re not quite sure how to wear your military inspired blazer, he’s a simple way of styling your outfit without feeling like you’re wearing a costume… Just throw on a pair of dark leggings or some skinny leg denim (dark), a loose tank – either white, grey, black, or cream, some jewelry – preferably gold or bronzy with accents of black, and a strong looking shoe – in this case, I chose a wedge, but you can wear some awesome combat boots that would still look femme in contrast to the skinny leg =)
