Saturday, we decided to head down to Irvine and check out some of the rides at cars and coffee. For those of you who don’t know, cars and coffee is a weekly car gathering on Saturday mornings.

Most of the cars here are legendary classics and are pretty rare.

You can pretty much find every iconic car for every class in the industry here… we were in heaven.

You dont have to be a ford guy (or girl) to love the sight of several clean cobras lined up…

…and the GT isn’t too bad to look at either.

ZR1 looks pretty mean as it menacingly rolls by.

The ever sexy RX7. Showin some love as a fellow owner.

BMW Alpina M3 in perfect condition.

Though Cars and Coffee is mostly for well kept, original cars, we found some guys with the custom spirit.

A Beetle with a V8 and a fat stance let us know that we had friends in the area.

And then we found this gem, a Chevy van that had been chopped, opened up and had a rear-mounted engine.

The thing was an absolute beast and as it turns out, it was a local school project for an autoshop class.

The Greddy Scion FR-S made a public appearance.

Displaying products they have for the vehicle.

Paired next to it’s big brother

Great way to start the day. Such a variety of cars showed up. Next were off to Autocon!
