New York City has given me enough memories to last a lifetime, but it’s always gutwrenching to say goodbye. While I’ve bid adieu to the city many times over, it was always knowing that I could come back to a mailing address here. Sure, I’ve got a one-way flight booked at the end of the month, but… things are different. My heart aches more for the unknown than it does for the concrete jungle and knowing me, I won’t stop until that craving is fulfilled. In my mind, I’m “officially” leaving today on my cross-country trek (a D.C. pitstop doesn’t really count), so I figured it was worthwhile to take a trip down memory lane & share a few snaps from my time in the big apple.
Not the best picture of Glo & I, but it really makes me smile. Totally reminiscent of all my favorite memories: airy, light, carefree, easy-going and fun. Missing my east coast home + the homies awwwwwwready.
