This past weekend I traveled back to the Bay Area for Formula D Round 6: Point of Impact at Infineon Raceway. I also was able to check out the opening ceremony of the Fatlace “Paddock” event. Since both events had a large amount of coverage already and to avoid doubling up on the content. Here are some random pics from my weekend travels.

The big news item this past weekend was the fire in San Bruno. As we drove to the Fatlace event the smoke and flames could be seen from miles away. I feel for the families that lost their homes and loved ones in this tragedy.

The Paddock.

Mark’s new office is full of inspiration.

Phil (360VM) always at work…can’t wait to see the final video.

Meguiar’s is one of the companies that have supported me since the car show days and it’s great to see them at a Formula D event. Our good friend RJ deVera brought out this new “Wraptivo” Porsche that had a mix of matte white and carbon vinyl very clean and very well executed.

If you’re lucky enough…you can try to snag one of the limited edition toys from Scion Racing. This one is the Toyo Tires version of Ken Gushi. They also have another DTA Ken Gushi, a Tanner Foust, a Rogue Status, Chris Rado, and a surprise one that I am not sure I let out of the bag just yet. Collect them all.

Falken Tire sits atop the podium once again at this event and has 2 of the top 3 drivers competing for the championship. It’s finally their year after so many years of supporting the sport of drifting.

The Bay Area I’ve found to have some of the most dedicated and educated fans on drifting. Can you spot the FD drivers in the stands?

NOS Girls…you’re welcome.
