blacktrax have played a big role when i went pro drifting years ago, these guys had my back like they’ll kill one for me, a beer that is. even after i stop drifting, we had an event called “drift battle” (yeah sucka, that was us, i work so hard for that organization) and these guys once again supported me with no question, although the event got canceled after a few events these guys were still willing to give us their support so what im trying to say is, blacktrax are good people. go there to get your oil change or build a whole race car.

saw calvin there and tried to catch up on life. and kenta was also there, doing what kenta does which i have no idea but the dude is hilarious to kick it with.

in the past i’ve felt a little unappreciative being part of the blog. its how i felt in the past and i dont need to go on details but on friday it made me realize how great it is to be part of  fatlace, not just the brand but being friends with people with such creative minds that’s involved and how much the brand evolved just a few years ago when it was on standing still.

the event was a great vibe, always feel at home when im around the fatlace friends and family. ill be using jose’s photos since im too damn lazy to upload my shit.

jaypizo and i left the southbay pretty late since he just came back from LA, we’re the definition of “filipino time”.

you know who surprise me the fuck out and very tolerable to talk to is john p. i have very short attention span. ive somewhat known john for years since drift-unit started but we’ve never really talk except a few hello’s here and there. he even made us a drift unit kicks when he used to be with speedwells but john is actually a cool mofo, i’ve always thought he was a little “BRO” for me but i take all that back.

and fongstarr with a DMX voice but dude was on some quake shit that night. he busted it out for the special occasion, made us look like a sucka with our $20 dollar kicks.

but i’m happy whenever i can go out and do some session, we’re always busy but we all have to take a little bit of time for ourselves.

anyways, went to the san jose tattoo convention today since i got a call from an old friend that does tattoo in hawaii while he was down here. turns out that he’ll be living in SJ and meaning, a few of shits going to be done on my skin soon. oh fuck. i also wanted to check out mike giants live painting but more reason to really check out some arts and artist doing their thang live on the floor. i didn’t stay too long but i pick up a few arts but who i really wanted to meet and hoping to get some shit done on my arm was adrian lee from analog, hoping ill catch the dude at his next book release party. nov 6th at analog tattoo!

I haven’t really touch and talk about this much since it happen but this shit is very saddening. It had to happen to the people that was already poor as fuck and in poverty. Imagine the disease and aftermath on this shit? its fucking very sad.

About a week ago, Typhoon Ketsana (known in the Phillippines as “Ondoy”) made landfall, and according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Ketsana dropped 455 mm (17.9 in) of rain on Metro Manila in a span of 24 hours on Saturday – the most in 42 years. A month’s worth of rainfall in a single day washed away homes and flooded large areas, stranding thousands on rooftops in the city and elsewhere. Ketsana later crossed over to Vietnam and Cambodia, where it is still active. Over 360 people are known to have been killed, and damage estimates are reaching $100 million. Unfortunately, another tropical storm may be headed toward the southern Philippines on Wednesday but is still 1,000 km (600 mi) off the coast. jordan started kinder last week. sister was there to give him some encouragement, it sucks that they both go to a different school. hoping next year they’ll be together.

in no time, he’s ready to take over.

first day went great. no call from school. alyza’s first day in kinder was a call from school for her setting off the fire alarm and knocking some fools for his tacos. GANGSTA.
