In a few months it’ll be three and a half years since I came here to Tokyo. I’ve recently realized how important a role food plays when you live somewhere when it comes to the ability to stave off homesickness and live somewhere long-term. As many people probably know, Tokyo has the highest amount of Michelin Stars of any city in the world. Among other things, were it not for the ridiculous amounts of delicious food here, I honestly don’t think I could have made it this long.

There are a few restaurants that I frequent in the city when I feel like eating something tasty, but theres one that I go to more than any of the others…If you’re ever here in Tokyo, hit me up and we’ll go eat. In the meantime: Some eye candy from my secret spot~

On most nights during my stays in Tokyo, dinner ends up starting around 9-10 at night and goes deep into the night…On this night, duck was bomb!

During my time in Korea I spent some time with the guys from 360 Sound and Humantree/Buried Alive. Jayass (founder) has got his shit on lock with the Korean subculture scene. His brand Buried Alive has collaborated with the likes of Evil Monito, Circa Shoes, and Jagermeister most recently. Check them out if you’re ever in Seoul.

Lately, In Japan, the popular thing lately among some high school guys is to take their bikes and hook them up Dekotora style, the call them Dekochari (Decorated Bikes) Pretty nuts!
