Ratchaburi is located 80 kilometres west of Bangkok on the bank of the Mae Klong River. The provincial area abounds in natural attractions and historical sites. A long way off the beaten track and down a long metal driveway, you’ll find yourself inside a dark room where realistic-looking “human body parts” are stacked on shelves and hanging on meat hooks. The place looks like a mortuary, but in fact, it’s a family-run bakery with a difference.

Last friday I hit up the University Ave for their monthly artwalk. First up was Moksha for Rob and Mary (Aloha Terrorists). The theme of the show was that pagan St. Valentine. Then up the street to Upperplayground to Peekaboo’s show.

Yesterday for lunch me and Sua… hopped on the bus and trekked it up to Capitol Hill in search of this Crispy Drunken Chicken Sandwich on the way we see this huge wheat paste of Obamrham by Ron English. We get up closer and we find out it’s Damion (BLVD Gallery – RIP) on the rollers. 

The sun was out this past weekend… I love it when you have the option of a sweater in the sun or jacket in the shade. Me and the wife took advantage of the nice Sunday to walk around the Olympic Sculpture Park. If you visit Seattle and it happens to be sunny I highly recommend this and a Dick’s Deluxe Burger.

I LIED….I got to post one more commercial.

My parents will get a kick out of this since they’re always looking for anything Filipino related on the tv. I always get a call from my mom telling me to watch Oprah because there is this little Filipino girl that sings like Whitney Houston… and to make my Mom feel like she one upped me I just play like I’ve never heard of the girl.

“Darbin… did you know the guy on BlackEyePiss? He is Pilipino?  

So anyways… I’m flipping the channels the other night and I come across this guy on Comedy Central named Jo Koy and he’s doing a skit about his mom playing the Wii with a heavy Filipino accent… *DING* so I call my mom up… “Mom watch Comedy Central… I don’t know what channel it is over there… just flip the channels till you see a bald white guy, but he’s half because he’s making fun of your accent.”  So I watch the rest of the standup and it’s pretty funny talking about his 5 year old kid calling his birdie “TINGTING” but then it starts to get a little raunchy (not for me) but for my Mom (a devout Hail Mary Full of Grace, Catholic Auto Club member) who’s over in Bremerton… Watching because I called her up, to top her little Filipino Whitney Houston. Sorry MOM… It’s been a week and a half… you can call me again to tell me to lock my doors and pray. Take this as a lesson not to 1up your Mom on Filipino discovery.

Clipped this from one of my favorite  daily sites FFFFOUND.com… So I have no idea who did it… it’s one of those things you slap your head and say why didn’t I think of that?
