SO ITS BEEN A WHILE AYE?
June 3, 2009 – 11:24 pm | Comments Off | submitted by dnyce

I know i know..im probably theeee worst Fatlace blogger everrrrrrr. After bumping into jose one day I thought maybe i really should update again.

So what’s new aye?? Well..Just two days ago I moved back to Hong Kong!! It’s a pretty intense and huge move but I’m used to flying back and forth now just that this time..I’ll be staying here for good! It’s pretty sad and of course I’m going to intensely miss New York but it’s always good time for a change..and plus I really need to start jumping on that little thing called a JOB.

Before leaving NY, I def. had to hit up one of my mooooost favourite restaurants, CAFE HABANA. I love that place. Seriously, after Asian food, Mexican or Spanish food is my favooooourite cuisine. Ugh it really kills me that I can’t get any good cheap grimey Mexican food in Hong Kong ): I guess that’ll just have to be one of the cuisines of the many restaurants I plan on opening up here.

Omg..i fear i may be having dreams about this tonight which will make me VERY HUNGRY when i wake up ): If only there was somewhere in HK to get my mexican corn fix. I guess I’ll have to attempt at making it myself -.-

Chicken enchiladas with creamy sauce and rice and beans. Forgot the official name of the dish but seriously anything with Spanish rice is good to me.

Mo’s favourite Cuban sandwich.

And since it was my last Friday in New York we thought we’d go all out and indulge in a peanut butter chocolate mousse cake from Teany :D ughhh I miss Teany too ):

Okay so i hope it wont be another million years till i update my Fatlace blog again!! hahaha maybe I’m not cut out to have multiple blogs? since I’ve pretty much abandoned my design blog and my doggie blog :D hahaha okay I’m working on it though…cos expect something new happening on Fatlace soon!!!

NACHOOOOOOOOO LIBRE
April 19, 2009 – 7:53 pm | 2 Comments | submitted by dnyce

Zara floral dress, H&M blazer, Repetto stingray flats, Whole Foods shopping bag.

Sorry for the major lack of posts but I was really busy everyday when my bestfriend was here, but she left yesterday so now I’ve a little bit more free time to sleep in and actually get some work done.

Today is a georggggous day out and we had planned to stay in so that I could just relax and get some work done but, really, how could anyone waste this 23 degree (celsius) beautiful day. We ended up just leaving the house for lunch at Remedy Diner and grabbing some ingredients for some cookies I’m about to bake…yummm can’t wait :D

My scrumptious nachos from Remedy..that greedy little pb ate half of.

DUDE. check out this kid’s MULLET….sooo intense. tbh, I sort of wanted one when ScarJo had hers (omg what was I thinking?)

——————–

Yes, those ARE a pair of Timberland boots you see there.

I bet most readers didn’t know that I used to be a major sneakerhead. My sneaker collection has amounted to about 70 or so pairs split between New York and Hong Kong. Unfortunately for me and my bank account, my shoe obsessions have shifted from Nikes and Vans to Marnis and Chloes, which unforunately again, I have neither of. So I had to pack away a ton of my sneakers to give my bestfriend to bring back for me because it will literally be impossible for me to bring my whole apartment back with me when I move back to HK in June :(

TOPSHOP RUINED ME + I’M ON STYLE.COM’S VIDEO!
April 3, 2009 – 9:34 pm | One Comment | submitted by dnyce

UPDATE:

picture-22

Click the pic or here to view the video from Style.com, see me at 1m25s.

so turns out they DID use a random clip of our interview!! I think the question was something along the lines of “So do you know what you want already?” Something like that…hahaha. How exciting to be on Style.com’s video! Yayyy!!!

———- Proceed to major essay and rant about Topshop, and proceed further to skip past all the blabber and jump right to the photos!

H&M bandage skirt, H&M tights, boyfriend’s Tshirt, Zara trenchcoat, Mulberry Bayswater bag, Frye harness bewts.

Essay first, pics later:
So by now I’m sure you’ve heard alot of hoopla about the Topshop opening, well here’s my renditio:

The day all started at 10am, which is when me and Sha embarked on our TS adventure by joining the end of the line, which at this point had already curved around onto Broome street..actually that’s a lie, the line basically started on the corner of Broadway and Broome, so really, we weren’t tooo far in the line. I heard some people had lined up since 6 or 7 am, dedd-ee-kay-shun. So the lineup wasn’t too bad, I’m sure by now you’ve heard that there were Pinkberry people handing out Pinkberry, and Madewell people handing out Madewell coffee and doughnuts holes and Topshop people handing out more Topshop totes, giftcards and cookies! While waiting in line, Style.com pulled me and Sha aside to ask us some questions about the opening, and as usual we acted like fools and had really pathetic responses to her kind of dull questions, so I doubt they’ll even use the footage they shot of us.

After more or less an hour waiting in line, 11am came round. There was some loud cheers and hoorahs which I assume was all the hooplah for Kate Moss and Sir PG prancing around and opening the doors, but how would we know, as us pure mental mortals in the line weren’t blessed by the sight of such commotion. They started letting people in, about 25 people at a time so as to not create a riot and rage of more than 100 ppl charging in at the same time. There was lots of “omg i’m so excited”s and lots of “omg don’t lose me inside”s but once inside, me and sha were very calm and collected and very schematic with our browsing. We worked in a sort of weaving pattern, browsing through area by area, floor by floor.

The clothes themselves were of course amazing as usual, I mean I didn’t expect anything much more zomg since I’ve browsed Topshop almost everyday for the past 3 months or so, I’ve pretty much seen each item already. All except for the Kate Moss stuff, which we kinda avoided knowing that everything would be way out of our measly potato of a budget.

So the craziest thing that after lining up for an hour, unintentionally, we spent pretty much THREE HOURS inside. Don’t exactly know how time disappeared so fast but all of a sudden we realised it was almost 2pm and we hadn’t had anything to eat yet (despite all those alluring goodies from the line-up, which we had none of). After all those 3 hours, I walked out with just TWO items, a coral pink bull-canvas-type dress and floral printed tights (both I had not tried on in the changing rooms cos the lines were just bonkers). Yeah I know, only two items, kinda lame but had I had thou$and$$$ to spare, I would’ve purchased way more.

After an awesome filling meal at Pho Bang, we ended up doing even MORE browsing at Urban Outfitters and H&M, where I actually ended up trying on the pink dress, only to realise that it fit way wrong and was too big, and sha also realised that she wasn’t satisfied with the blazer she had bought..SO we didn’t want to waste the $20 giftcards we used to buy the items, and so we thought we should go back to the store to exchange the items for something better, while still being able to use the $20 giftcards. SOOOO we trekked all the way back down to the store, this being like almost 6pm already, where we were met with yet the same freaking line curving this time all the way round to Crosby. But of course we’re retarded and really wanted to switch our items so of course we lined up..yes..again. After another hour of my life wasting moseying on Broome street waiting for the line to inch away, we finally got in again. I then proceeded to browse everything I already saw, which funnily they reracked alot of things and had already moved alot of the items to different places and different displays, and I was really wrecked as to what I should get instead of the dress. Another 2 hours passes…I swear, once you step into Topshop, time just goes beyond you and disappears. I finally picked out a pair of jeans that I would get instead and was ready to pay, which unfortunately also took like about an hour just to pay cos there was a huge hooplah with our return/exchange. By this time it was like 9pm and I wanted to shoot myself. My feet were dying from being up and out since 9.30am. We FINALLY left the store, I even think it was about to close soon at like 10pm, I heard some people say “We’re closing soon”…insane but I think it was approximately 9.30 when we left. By the end of it, me and Sha almost hated being in the store and swore never to go back…..for at least another week heh, heh, heh.

Sorry for that insane essay of a story, but it was like literally everything that happened on that intense insane zomgwtfbbq Topshop of a day. I didn’t even bring my camera that day either, thought it might make my bag too heavy, so here are just a few pictures taken from Sha’s camera:

With the Topshop giftcards :) still happy at the very beginning of the day..little did I know it would turn out to be the death of me..and my feet.

The ridonkulous line, filled with all sorts of fashionable as well as frumpy people.

A cutesy Topshop lady handing out Topshop edible goodies.

The Topman vespas who went around SoHo literally honking the whole time, not exactly pleasant at 10am.

The style.com lady asked us “Do you have any tactics for shopping?”, I should’ve said “I’m an animal!!! I’m an animal!!!”, but like I said, our responses were lame and boring haha.

And this was after our first exhausting half of Topshop madness. Most people haven’t seen me and Sha together, yes she is my younger sister, and yes we do look extremely like midgets here (-10pts to PB).

So these are the final two items I ended up with: a pair of gorgeous floral printed tights that I love, and a pair of extra comfy and skinny Moto Skinny jeans:

Dunno why it looks so short and stubby here.

Super comfy, wore them today and they’re sooooo soft.

Okay that ends my insane Topshop recap. Once again, sorry for the essay and I don’t blame you if you didn’t read the whole thing hahaha.

My fatlace blog is famous?
March 29, 2009 – 2:11 pm | One Comment | submitted by dnyce

Former DIY front-cropped now shredded tee, AA leggings, Zara trenchcoat, sha’s DIY H&M bag, urbie plimsolls, prescription Rayban Aviators

Wore this to babysit for 7 hours (yes that’s my unofficial job) and got so bored at one point that I started shredding the shirt I had on, so before heading out that day, my shirt was hole-less. I’m feeling super inspired for my outfits lately..even though the weather is starting to be wonderful. Why you may ask? “I prefer not to answer that, I’m still carrying a lil’ holiday weight.”

————————————

A little preview of something I’m working on currently. It kinda looks like nothing right now, just a row of studs, but in the end hopefully it’ll look a gaazillion times cooler.

————————————

Prada and Bergys, you kill me.

Wishlist expands by the day. sigh.

————————————

And lastly, how funny is it that when I googled “Marni Oxfords,” my wishlist post from my fatlace blog was the first thing that came up? hahahaa I’m so famous.

SO MUCH FLORAL AND FOOD IN ONE POST
March 22, 2009 – 5:19 pm | Comments Off | submitted by dnyce

Floral Dr Marten’s Lottie Boots in action!

So my DM boots finally arrived!!! and..to be honest, they weren’t what i thought they’d be. I thought I had ordered the regular DMs, curved toe in a floral print, but what I received was a pointier toe version. I guess this was maybe a wonderful surprise? I dunno, I’m still trying to get used to it, and to be quite honest, they hurt the back of my ankles the first 2 days I wore them..so I’m on a Floral DM hold-off until my ankles are all healed up.

We spent the day walking around the Farmer’s Market and had a quick pit-stop at Dogmatic for some grape soda and chips. Before taking the bus home, we took a quick dip into Forever21 (btw, super bad idea to have the bus stop right outside F21 on 14th street, super tempting while you wait), and I walked out with this really really pretty floral tube/corset-like dress. It was probably the last one in the store and nans snatched it up so fast before this other lady who was eyeing it got her grubby hands on it.

Nice pose lulz!

Eating a lemon slice from the Farmer’s Market

hahahah nice face!!!

My new F21 dress worn with a Hanes tshirt underneath.

Detailing of the floral print.

—————————-

For dinner I decided to cook up a humungo Mexican feast. I LOOOOVE Mexican food, which I was only able to properly discover once I moved to America. I made chicken quesadillas, guacamole with blue corn chips, tomato salad and Spanish pilaf/rice (which I went on to dream about). Just a mere 1 or 2 hours after stuffing our face with Mexican food, I decided to randomly make chocolate chip cookies! I tend to make them enormous cos my bf loooooooves chocolate chip cookies and which he then proceeded to stuff his face with like almost 3 giant cookies.

Mexican feast!

Almost there!

Stuffing your face yah? Doesn’t his head look BIG AND HUGE? Bigger than normal?

Nice nostrils!

EIGHTEEN

DIY Hanes tshirt, Helmut Lang denim jacket, AA leggings, DIY faux wingtips, Costume National bag

Back view

My hand isn’t really that flat and paddle-like.
Top ring: F21, Bottom ring: Vintage DKNY
Nails: LA FLARE light coral

A mix of bracelets from India, black H&M ones and some others from a guy in SoHo

Whatcha lookin’ at over thurr baby!?!?!?!

So the weather was being amazing on Sunday, which was so fortunate for us because it was our 18 month anniversary! We decided to have a mega mega chill day and just walk around..which is pretty much what we do all the time but this time with 100 times more chill-ness. Also, before leaving the house and stressing out with my outfit, I impulsively DIY-ed this old Hanes tshirt I had. I was inspired by Rumi’s top she DIY-ed herself: short in the front long in the back, just like the mullets we all love.

So our day consisted of walking from my apartment, through SoHo, towards West Village, and across 14th street and ended at Union Square, which is pretty much where we always are anyways.

Stopped by the Mulberry store where I held my future baby in my hands for the first time. The leather was buttery soft and felt like I was running my hands over some heavenly leather. Coudln’t take any pics in the store so this exterior reflective shot will have to do until I actually own that baby and can hold it and hug it and photograph it all I want…hopefully one day..

Corner Bistro!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty colours

———————

During our West Village travels, we stopped by New York Hotdog and Coffee for some..hot dogs and omgggggg heaven in my mouth. The store is run by Koreans and so their specialty hotdogs were Bulgogi hotdogs or Kimchi hotdogs or even Bulgogi AND Kimchi hotdogs!!! Seriously one MUST try this at least once in their life..just the first bite will get you hooked. The store is a little out of our usual radius but we are DEFINITEY going back to shove 10 billion bulgogi hotdogs in our mouths!!

BREAKING SPRING
March 16, 2009 – 5:33 pm | Comments Off | submitted by dnyce

BDG Men’s Tshirt, H&M skirt, IZZUE (hk) sweater, Esprit Jacket from a million years ago, Frye boots, Costume National bag, Chloe sunglasses

Left ring F21, Middle ring: Kenneth Jay Lane
Nails: LA Flare light coral pink

Top to bottom: HK Fur Association rabbit fur bracelet, KJL pyramid stud cuff, Links bracelet

So you have no idea how happy it makes me that I’m FINALLY on Spring Break. I mean I’m not going anywhere, or doing anything extravagant in particular, but the fact that I have the time to sleep in til 3pm (hehe) is pretty much orgasmic.

So we had a major chill day yesterday..just walking around hanging out spending time with each other which was really awesome seeing that I was sleeping at 5am everynight and being mega stressed for the past week. We headed round to Opening Ceremony again because they called about a week ago telling me the Dr Marten Darci boot was in stock again. However, I did procrastinate going there for a week and so of course, the ones I wanted were sold out already. That blur of a photo up there is me trying on the patent black ones, which I kiiinda liked but the patent was seriously patent, so I decided no. Besides, I just ordered my Floral DM’s (can’t fking wait til they get here ^.^)

OMG so after doing the usual SoHo stores, we took the train up to KMART (uh, my favourite store evahh) to get some plain FOTL shirts for a project and WHAT did we discover in the men’s underwear section:

ZOMG right!! LOL it was seriously funny, and notice how the shelves are EMPTY, they must be really popular!!!!!

—————

Finally, we took the train up to Barnes and Nobles on 14th street to chill out there for a while then headed to H&M, where PB bought me some new shoes!! He likes girls in “those covered up heels,” as he says, so I ended up with some new lace-up oxfords :) They look kinda greenish in the photo (uhh come on graphic designer, step-up your photoshop skillz), but I assure you they’re black.

wow okay..excuse the back-of-ankle jelly rolls there.

oh also, I’ve been looking to get a grey pullover for the longest time so at kmart I ended up getting this grey jersey men’s crewneck pullover (woah so many adjectives) on sale for $3.99. YEP THREE.NINETY.NINE. SO CHEAP, and so nice and soft, I <3 KMART. The neckline was kinda high so I chopped it off a little.

————

BTW, saw this in the SJP issue of Harper’s Bazaar and omg I want? I saw it like maybe 4 weeks ago in the magazine and since then have been prowling the Nine West site every other day to see if they have it yet, which they DON’T. Ugh so mad!!! So if anyone randomly browses and sees that it’s on there please let me know!! Must. Have. Now!!!

MARCH / DM’S
March 6, 2009 – 10:01 pm | One Comment | submitted by dnyce

I CANNOT believe it’s March already!! Been back in NY for 7 weeks already but it feels like I just got back last week!! UGH that means it’s midterm week, which means I have a crapload of work to catch up on but also means I’m halfway there to graduation!!!!

I haven’t posted an outfit photo and a long ass while cos the weather in NY has been leaving me feeling very stay-at-home-wear-pajamas-all-day. BUT today turned out to be really nice!! Sha told me it’s daylight savings this weekend so hopefully that means I’ll never have to live in snow again!!!

Awesome face yes yes?
Danskin leggins, MxMJ mocassins, BF Obey shirt, AA long cardi, Zara trench coat, Rayban aviators, Drake’s scarf, Mulberry Bayswater bag.

Me and Mr. Sanchez.

Took sha to Remedy diner for the first time, that place is really hit or miss. We then proceeded to stroll the streets of NY, intention was to buy some supplies for our secret job, but we did so much secret shopping (of the window and rack kind), that the store ended up closing before we could get there ):

—-

I’ve always thought that me and DM’s don’t mesh well together, especially the 8 hole kinds cos my calves are fairly large and those kinda mid-calf boots aren’t always good on me. HOWEVER, I did finally try on these floral boots that I’ve loved for so long and to my surprise, they actually looked pretty good, only when folded down (which I kinda love more anyways). I didn’t get them though, although they were only $60 at ShoeMania, but because they only had size 10 or above!! After a little prowling online, I found the black floral ones on Amazon for only $70!! I’ve got to call Switzerland to move some money around but they will be mine soon!!!

——

Today I scored a wonderful blazer at H&M on sale!! I know Sha initially wanted this, but she gave me the A-OK to get it for myself! I was surprised to find this in the sale rack already since I just came out not too long ago, but maybe they’re tryna get rid of all the winter-related stuff to make way for SPRING AWESOME-NESS.

Hellz Yes I’m rocking the Sale tag.

$20!!! Can you believe it. So chepp chepp.

A little closeup of the texture/pattern of the fabric. Makes me feel a little old man-ish but I ruff it.

So glad I got the blazer. Been looking for a long/boyfriend blazer for a while..If it was all black then would be +10pts but I’ll settle for this for now (;

——–

PLEASE READ: Also, in regards to my secret project, please let me know if there are any accessories or DIY projects that you’ve always wanted to see/do but never knew how then please let me know!! Send pics/links to show me and I’ll try my very very best to come up with an easy to follow and do tutorial!! Please let me know in comments or email me at doityoselfblog@gmail.com !!!!

OVERDUE
February 27, 2009 – 11:06 pm | One Comment | submitted by dnyce

This is a long long overdue life post. I haven’t posted outfit photos or daily-life photos in ages so here’s just a mad recap of what I’ve been up to the past 2 weeks or so.

February 13th, 2009

Went to Model Diner with my bf after class and I had a really goooood barbecue chicken sandwich, which is rare for me cos I don’t general prefer sandwiches.

Got the two gold rings recently at F21, the silver and black chain ring I got when I went on a forced trip to China with my mama over xmas.

My outfit for that day:
F21 bleached jeans, DIY studded Converse, Zara trenchcoat, Yohji Yamamoto scarf, Chloe gym bag.

Doesn’t this building above Virgin megastore at Union Square look like it’s flat like a piece of paperrr??

Met up with Sha later on and was super excited to see that they took off some of the scaffolding outside the Topshop store in SoHo!! Can’t wait!!!!

**

I bought this awesome Organic Cotton red striped tanktop from H&M back when they had the 20% off any item thing. It reminds me of those old men boaters and laying by the beach! Can’t wait till the weather warms up!

——————————-

February 15th, 2009

Again wearing our fav Yohji scarf, it’s super warm and cuddly. This was me and my bf’s special day so we just ended up walking around together and going for a glorious meal at Vselka.

My beef stroganof at Vselka, sewwww good. Oh and our delicious sweet potato fries in the back there. My bf had some yummy meatloaf thing that was wrapped in BACON? omgwtfbbq gross!

All done!

Um, yes awesome. This disgustingly overweight family of one mother and 3 fatty girls were sitting by the table next door to us. All they did throughout their whole meal was argue with each other and tease and shout at the youngest daughter whilst she continued to cry constantly as she chomped away at her CHEESEburger.

——————————-

February 20th, 2009

My two friends from England came to visit (Hi guys!) and I took them to Clinton Street Bakery for some gewd brunch. They loved it so much we went back again right before they flew away.

I spotted this girl outside waiting for a table and I loved her hair. She’s totally owning the bowl cut.

I wore suspenders! I got them like 4 years ago at H&M and barely even worn them..I think this is only like the 2nd time I’ve worn them. In this pic I’m also wearing F21 denim shorts, my Yohji scarf (yes, again), a Kimchi&Blue duffle coat and Miu Miu round sunglasses.

Lol, this is Debbie being awesome with the AA mustache balaclava.

Omg, I took them to Macy’s for some shopping and spotted this amazing manequin. How unfortunate that even fake women can be too flat for a fake herve dress! Too funny!

Oh I also bought this black slouchy hat, something I had been looking for for ages, from Urbie. I added some awesome-ness to it..which you can see in a second.

Oh yeah and LOL omg we went to some random vintage store on 23rd st or something and THIS was on display. TOO FUNNY. I dunno why I happen to be catching all these dress mishaps but this was just too funny.

——————————-

February 22nd, 2009

My awesomified hat! I added just 3 little cone-spikes to a little side of the hat. Makes me feel 100000 times cooler! It’s really hard to get a clear photo of it..but I’ll make sure to take a more detailed pic soon!

This was my outfit, minus my coat and bag. I’m wearing my DIY-ed hat, BDG jeans, Lark&WolfF for Urbie button shirt. I think I look really Japanese-styled here, no?

Want this mustache cup so bad! Just today we also saw one that said “My cup of tea” which I also really want.

——————————-

February 25th, 2009

Met up with my oldest friend Kirti for lunch at Republic at Union Square. I’ve almost quite literally known this girl for my whole life. We were friends before we were even born ;)

I had the Tomato Beef Stew noodles and that’s my bf’s Grilled Pork Rice. Soooo yum <3 Republic!

——————————-

February 27th, 2009

Today was me and Sha’s day-off-fun! So poor Mo had to stay home until he had to go to work, sooo I cooked him up a yummy breakfast before leaving him to go shop hahahaha.

My outfit for our shopping day. Wearing Danskin leggings, Hanes tshirt, Zara trenchcoat, Drake’s cashmere scarf, Urbie plimpsols, Costume Nationale bag, Chloe sunglasses and a big bun of hair on my head.

I took Sha to Cafe Habana for lunch since she hadn’t been there and corn is like one of her favourite foods ever. She’s probably being moody here because we missed our table-call and the fewd was taking too long. But…

We ordered a Quesdailla de Pollo, a side order of yellow rice (my fave) and their famous corn! We shared everything and everything was sooooo good.

Happy the food is here!

So we had a huge day ahead of us, we went to the Barney’s and Intermix sales but..unfortunately didn’t get anything. At the Barney’s sale I spotted these amazing Marni oxfords and another Dries Van Noten oxfords..which I was actually going to get but Sha said I shouldn’t spend money just for the sake of getting something at a sale..which is totally true but I’m still sad I didn’t get them ): Apparently the Barney’s sale goes up to a FURTHER 50% off on the last day which is THIS Sunday March 1st so maybe if I have time I”ll head over again to drool some more.

I did end up getting a super pretty new bra from Urbie and some new specs that me and Sha were searching for on St Marks. Only $6!!

——————————-

Okay I promise to try and keep updating more often!! I guess life has been falling behind lately, what with all the visitors and the serious pile up of work ):

I haven’t even had the time to go through all the NYFW or any FW runway photos at all. I have like 30 unread emails in my inbox of all the FW updates that I haven’t been able to get round to…I’m already starting to feel super outdated ):

ceremony of the opening / chloe sevigny
February 23, 2009 – 5:08 pm | Comments Off | submitted by dnyce

Here are some of my favourite picks from Opening Ceremony’s new online store:

I love all the light coloured stuff for Spring. Can’t. Freaking. Wait. Those beige cutout OC wedges are serious business. My money plant needs to start sprouting already.

And speaking of Opening Ceremony..Refinery29 just released some exclusive pics of Chloe Sevigny’s new collection for Opening Ceremony, in which she also collaborated with Bass shoes.

Standouts seen on the male and female models included Fair Isle harem pants, Henleys with attached hood-like scarves, an ultra-soft pink flannel which comes with or without a tail (double-bounus), animal-print cardigans, slim moleskin trousers, and over-dyed calico button-downs—all ideal for layering when the temperature drops.

How flaming amazing are these buckle up wedges on Chloe and right pic?

I want EVERYTHING! Can’t wait for the collection to come out just so I get to oggle at it in person than oggling on screen.

Now leading on to my next topic…Dr Marten’s Darcie boot as worn by the 2nd model on the left of the last pic. I was at Opening Ceremony a few weeks ago and saw the shoes there but I first saw these on Chloe back when this pic came out:

..and I fell in looooovveee.

I’ve been searching for a good laceup heeled boot for the longest time..which might seem silly not that summer is about to roll up on us and summer in HK is not exactly pleasant-boot-wearing-weather but still, I need to have a pair in my wardrobe.

Here are some better pics of the shoes. I’m still not to sure if I’d settle for the red or the black…black would be better if it weren’t patent..and dunno if I could really work a whole-lotta red on my feet into my wardrobe..but I guess I’ll have to try them on to see what goes with what.

Right now the only two online stores that I found that are selling these are in the UK and they retail for about £48.75 (USD$70.61) or £75 (USD$108.62), which isn’t exactly too pricey.

I’m going to be heading to Opening Ceremony again soon so I’ll have to check the fit and the price there! Hopefully I’ll return home with some awesome beige wedges, OC oxfords, cut-out dresses, floral dresses and some serious red or black patent boots.
