Chloe, for being an amazing singer, songwriter, dancer& client, but above all, friend. My room smells like lilies and roses and it’s beyond beautiful to wake up to it every morning. Alas, I fear I may be allergic, so these will have to go soon so that I may breathe again…

Eddie Cruz for adding to the collection& the courteous tour. Obliged! Safe travels& speak soon.

Mr.Cruz also put me on Cafe Midi, down the street from UNDFTD La Brea and next door to American Rag. I met my girl Alice there for a catch-up luncheon that was beyond phenomenal. Shrimp Salad with arugula, grilled asparagus, tomatoes, and fresh mango is the truth!

Alice’s greek salad was beyond boring, but she had a neat lighter. I swear, this girl’s got all the best weirdo gadgets, haha.

Sophia, for forever inspiring me. What? Ya’ll didn’t think the kid was cool in the kitchen too? HAHA I’m not… not really anyway. J’s the best for putting up with my crazy ass and actually trying this stuff.

Egg and cheese omelette with chicken apple sausage. I used like, 5 different kinds of cheeses. Um, I don’t even like cheese…

‘Protein-style’ extra-lean burger stuffed with sauteed garlic, mushrooms and shrimp. Topped with melted cheddar jack, avocado and tomatoes. We grilled some onions, asparagus and bell peppers on the side. Shucks- experimenting in the kitchen might be the new eating out! YUM.

Remember: “Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.” – Booker T. Washington. May God bless MJ’s family& loved ones. We will forever dance to his music, and he will forever dance with the angels. Let there be peace. xoxo
