Growing up, there was seldom music in our house. No particular reason, I guess the folks just weren’t about that. Anyway, it’s pretty much rendered me those musically challenged individual this side of the Mississippi. Luckily, my friends have kept me (relatively) in tune with the world. Wednesday night, the lovely Ms. Chloe invited me out to Upper Manhattan Lounge to see Ali Woodson, formally of The Temptations perform in an intimate setting with some close friends and family. (Sorry, don’t know how to edit video, hence the weirdo colors).

Manhattan Beach is known for its laid-back style, so this lounge might be the fanciest thing within a 5 mile radius. Neat atmosphere, killer mimosas! Ask Mike to serve one up, you won’t be disappointed.
