A stunning siren and dear friend of mine, Jenilee Reyes had a solo performance last week at Space1520 to promote awareness of the $15 billion dollars to be cut from California social and education programs. I grabbed a few friends to roll through and show love for my girl’s first solo performance in two years.

Didn’t get any video, but here’s a throwback of her from ‘07. Her voice is as amazing as ever and I’m beyond excited to see what she’s got up her sleeve for the near future.

OH and funny story – I saw this video via someone’s Twitter eons ago and couldn’t get over how clever it was. Randomly enough I meet Jenilee just a bit later and had no idea she was part of the trio. It was only when she introduced me to her bandmates that the lightbulb went off. It’s a great sign of her sense of humor and fun personality – check it out!
