ok so this is the start to my Mackin over load .. in my next postings will be writing about some of the my close friends and brands that I have worked with … first at bat is phil @ makin, he is one of the reason why great brands like project mu, volk, avan, arc and more are in the states

first thing that phil mentioned to me was that the mag blue was inspired by NOS, not really but thats our story and we’re sticking to it ..

so phil was giving me a tour of whats new and whats hot for 2010

then showed me this wheel, I wasnt really about it till…

i noticed that wheel weighed just about the same amount of full 22oz NOS crazy !

hmmmm.. so we are working on the “project 5″ my BMW 5 series and hunting for the proper wheel .. this was ok ..

then I saw these gram lights and was thinking about this for a “one time livery” or “look for beast cancer month” for my brothers car ..

as i was drooling over the TE37’s phil mention oh .. you should look at ..

the OG .. well not so old, but what i mean by OG is that he is one of the people that help the scene and got it to were we are today .. EDDIE LEE .. GM @ Makin .. so he was the perfect person to ask about what wheel we should put on “project 5″

First thing he mentioned was you have rock avans .. ah .. heaven

I was alittle stand offish on the idea of a Japanese wheel on a Euro .. till eddie said “hey look at this 6 series that we did” .. sold .. advans it is ..

I love the finish and the over all look of the wheel, I was thinking about doing a full face wheel, no lip but this one piece racing wheel makes style and performance look beautiful, different is better then the standard .. so with that said next steps are to make sure that this is hellflush approved and make sure mark loves it .. then find out what size we need to use to make the over all look on the “project 5″ hellaflush .. we have the H&R coilobvers on the car so we are one step away from being hellaflush more on “project 5″ over the winter ..

there we go brian, once Florida native and one of the best 350z builders now g37 builder turned “one of the top sales/marketing men” @ makin. and I think this is when brian was sick of me looking around drooling all over the wheels and really wanted me to leave .. but for the record makin and our friends @ makin have supported nos since day one, where we love the team and the brands NOS and VOLK share the same DNA its all about performance and style all in one ..
