Easter Weekend
Married couples are pretty funny to hang out with. I was invited to go to Vessel cause there was some big shot DJ from LA (according to the couple) that was supposed to be there. Without even knowing, I agreed to the idea thinking it was going to be DJ AM or something, but rather, it was Rev from the World Famous Wake-Up Show. And to my surprise, the dude spun like AM, but maybe a more refined version since he can actually cut and spin back records. But still, seems like most DJs are succumbing to this rock/80’s/rap style. Never in my life I would have seen the day that Revolution mixed the Killers to some E40 track. And FYI, if you try to have sex in the V.I.P. room, yo ass is going to get bounced the fuck out! The nerve of some voyeurs.

Saturday stayed dormant and tried to fix a logo that I made for myself. I still got a lot of work to do. And for those that don’t know, I am Legend was a pretty good flick. The CG wasn’t that great and even the story line wasn’t a total original one but it had it’s own feel and maybe a harsh reality to it that something like that could actually happen to a metropolitan area like New York.

And Easter Sunday, decided to visit my grandparents. I am not religious by all means (I am a borderline Atheist) but there is something comforting to say hi to the deceased on this day. I hate to say it, but this will probably be the last time I see them for sometime. You really hate to see good people gone, and that was what they were…are…good people. I will always remember the days when my grandmother would slice apples for us after every meal and my grandfather would always give us some Golden Gate Field trinkets that he got for free after losing almost every bet that he placed on his lucky horses. Actually as long as it’s been, I can still remember my grandmother’s voice. Full of so much happiness in just the shout of my name. Man….just some fine memories that I hope I never forget.
