THE DARK SIDE OF THE FORCE
First I would like to go out on a limb and call myself a hypocrite before people start noticing that I have butt juice in my mouth and pointing fingers about how I am eating my own words out of my ass. I hate Nikons. Passionately have been saying that ever since the dismissal of two prior Coolpix cameras that I owned. Give me the answer why I would jump into getting a $1300 DLSR after learning that this brand was shit and I’ll give you a cookie. I honestly don’t have an answer to it. I know technology grabs me sometimes and I get hyped on mediocre tools like three inch screens and HD video mode….all which have nothing to do with the performance of this camera. Perhaps it’s the 10mm fisheye Nikkor lens that sueded me to get this or the 4.5 burst shot capability. Whatever it is, I just feel evil holding this camera, like I am cheating on my first love or something. But what has love ever gotten me anyways. Sorry Canon….

my buddy danny and i actually had the longest talk ever about buying full frame vs. the 40d vs. nikon today. i mean, you’ve obviously converted (excuse me while i throw up in my mouth a little) but i plan on picking up a 5d before the end of the year… its like saving a hundred bucks a month! haha
plus, all my cameras are canon, as are my lenses (and all the ones i want to get) so it would only make sense to make that final investment. ALSO, nikon lenses can mount on canon bodies whereas it doesnt work both ways. hows that for a final nail in the coffin?

haha, I too got a Nikon D90 because my partner insisted to buy it right away instead of waiting for the MKII. At first I was happy that he made the decision on buying the camera, but after using it for a few weeks, I wished that he should have waited, like I asked him to. But non-the-less, it’s a fun camera, once the MKII drops, the D90 is out the door. Canon fo Life!
Oh snap, I guess being on vacation=missing out on technology news! The D90 is up for sale!
