Ever since my last visit at the Skullz Press, I have been waiting for these posters to drop. This shit is just….well, the shit! Can’t wait to have these on my wall. Full recap later.

It’s that time again! Please join us this Friday night from 6-9pm at The Skullz Press for another night of free beer, good vibes and new artworks. I’ll be debuting the first few pieces from the “Las Cholas de Frisco” project as well as some new illustrations on paper. I have a new poster design to offer as well.

BART TOUR 2009

Roughneck Hardware is at it again on their infamous Bart Tour. They make the usual stops in the East Bay but later make there way to the SF Library and later to the Potrero Skate Park for a free BBQ and free giveaways at all stops. Check the videos below for last years recap:

CHILI BOWL CONTEST

This Saturday the Chili Bowl contest goes down at the Protrero Hills skatepark. This is strictly a SF creation in where there is a chili contest as well as a bowl/pool contest for the skaters. I didn’t go to last years and unfortunately can’t go to this years but heard it was one of the best contests ever. Check the video below for the experience.

IPATH NORCALIENTE TOUR

The iPath sqaud will be having a signing at Destination 1440 on the 24th.

The IPATH crew continues to tour, this time taking the van up to Northern California to hit some great spots and support shops in the area. Dubbed the Norcaliente Tour, this adventure begins on August 20 and comes on the heels of recent tours through the Midwest and Canada.

The crew on the Norcaliente tour represents a true mix of IPATH OG’s and new blood alike, including: Matt Rodriguez, Fred Gall, Nilton Neves, Matt Pailes, Ryan Lay, and Danny Dicola. In addition to the team, IPATH is bringing along filmer Thad Croskey and photographer Matt Price to document everything that goes down through video and pictures.

As a half-ass pony boy photographer myself, I admire the people that have paved the way for all of us skate rats to see the latest photos in skate mags that we so elegantly dismiss as shitter reading material. Blabac has been one of the pioneers of skateboard photography and he is having his exhibit displayed next week at FTC. Don’t miss out.

Finally, the underground cult favorite shoe is finally being released. (I have to admit, I am a SLAP Pal and am on the SLAP forum almost 70% of the time when I am on the web) Created by Slap and voted by the SLAP Pals as the final colorway to be made for us and skaters alike. I am super siked to snatch a pair of these at FTC’s shoe release party. Great shoe, great skate ~~mag~~ website and all under one of the best skate shops in SF.

3 YEARS IN THE FIELD @ ATLAS
