Join us as we celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of the Bay Area’s own Triple Threat DJs. Apollo, Shortkut and Vinroc have been moving the masses from a local and international level.

The relationship with LRG is very special. The Triple Threat DJs were one of the first groups that L-R-G sponsored as artists when the brand was first created 10 years ago. And TRUE, the premier San Francisco urban clothing boutique has been a fan and avid supporter of group as well. The combination of L-R-G x True x Triple Threat – well, really is a “triple threat”. With that said, L-R-G x TRUE x Triple Threat have created a limited edition t-shirt to commemorate this special event. The tee will only be available at TRUE.

Cypress Hill

Percussion madman Eric Bobo made his first public appearance at the age of 5, performing on stage with his father, Latin Jazz legend Willie Bobo. When Eric was 15, his father passed away and Eric took over Willie’s Latin jazz Band for a full year while still in high school.

But as the jazz scene evolved through the 80s and hip hop became a dominant force in music, Bobo found his calling. With a recommendation from a friend, Bobo got an audition with the Beastie Boys and before he knew it, he was on their national “Check Your Head” tour.

From his childhood as a Puerto Rican surrounded by Latin jazz legends to his days immersing himself in the underground hip hop scene and touring the world stages with the Beastie Boys and Cypress Hill, “Meeting of the Minds” brings together the best of Bobo’s friends and creative collaborators.

A major force behind the creation of Southern California’s first turntable band, the Beat Junkies, is a multi-faceted musician known to the world as DJ Rhettmatic. Born Nazareth Nirza, his artistic contributions to the music industry have placed him, along with his fellow members of the Beat Junkie crew, at the top of the DJ universe.
