Came up for mother’s day this weekend. I enjoyed alot of nice food at our BBQ, and some more nice food throughout the weekend at places around town. I spent a good portion of the weekend working on cars…which is always fun for me. A friend of mine bought a 350z and ordered a Wolf PopCharger (intake) right away. He’s never messed with cars before so I helped him with that install really quickly. We also painted up my friend’s gramlights on his WRX/STI. I had forgotten the had the 24 Hours of Lemons at Altamont and on the way home on Sunday I saw a load of the beaters being towed back.

I found a new door same color and all to replace the dented up drivers door on my STI. When I received it I noticed a tear in the box where it looked like the door had poked through. Needless to say that corner of the door was unprotected and the door made contact with something. Damaged in shipping for the lose!

If you’re a Honda head you’ve probably already seen this online, but for me it was brand new. Saw this on the MWIR (midwest import racing) forums.

Here’s the stats. Built 13b making roughly 800whp mated to a k series tranny. Every add-on has been custom fabricated from the engine mounts, piping, transmission adapters, to the alternator. The craziest part is that it’s some young person’s dad that came up with the idea and did all the fabrication.

Decided to check out subietechs two year anniversary meet and show + BBQ. The turnout was pretty good. The food was free, and there was alot of raffle prizes. No complaints here.

Video from this Sundays Event! The dude skidding with the wierd riser and green deepV out back is my friend Tim. He won the skid comp. The dude doing the backwards circles on the black bike with the orange DeepV in back is another friend George. Both guys can seriously rip it up. They ride for the shop that’s local to me that I support also. You may have seen my old blog when the shop (Los Angeles Brakeless L.A.B.) first opened.

Homicide Santa Monica

Santa Monica has seen a recent strange rise in Homicide in this last year. In 2007 there wasn’t a homicide (that we know of) the whole year. In this past week there has been two in Santa Monica. Thought this was pretty strange.

I don’t want to go into full detail of what my work consists of on a daily basis (yet), but it does envolve the SMPD.

You might have heard of the murder of a young aspiring actress last week. Last night a man was found beat to death in his apartment. I happened to be at that location earlier this morning. The two pics I tried to snap real quick didn’t turn out hardly at all…found that a little eerie.
