We’ve created this section of the site so you can get your own blog on Fatlace. READ THIS before getting your blog. It’s Important. So that means you’re one of a few that are lucky enough to sign up and have your own blog. THIS IS STILL IN BETA TESTING. We’ll integrate all these blogs into the main page soon but for now, enjoy your blog. Again, THIS IS BETA. The structure is simple, register for your own blog here, and then your blog will be formatted like this. fatlace.com/stayfresh/blogname. It’s as simple as that. We’re still in beta testing so note that we’ll be making changes. Come back to stay fresh often cause this is where we’ll be putting up new edits to the main blog system.

A few notes on getting started.
1. Navigation on StayFresh will be changed for the Top Login to work so please wait for that.

2. PLEASE RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO 741 WIDE to help the servers out. You’re only alloted 10megs of image space so might as well optimize your images.

2b. IMAGE RESIZE FOR DUMMYS. Here’s the best way to do image resizing. GOTO Plugins, turn ON the iMax Width plugin, click the Options Tab, click the iMax Width tab, then click “Yes // Server-side Resize: Physically resize large images to max width on the server at time of post“. and then scroll down and set Maximum Image Width to 741. You’ll never have to do this again and makes your life way easier!

3. Please make your about me image 160 x 192 or it will look stretched or shrunken. Whatever you upload, it will resize to this spec so might as well make it the right spec the first time around.

4. To upload your blog image. Goto “Users”, tab on “Your Profile”, scroll down and upload an image (sized 160×192). It will automatically put it on the top right of your blog. If you can add a 1 pixel black border around your photo, that would be ideal.

5. Youtube and embedding videos. Just click the F or V button depending if its a flash video or youtube/quicktime, etc.. and put in your url.
