If your in San Jose….
San Jose Tattoo Convention with REBEL8…
SMOOVEBERT a friend of my friend JacobChills of which I met some time ago is a BMX fiend from LA now residing in NYC…
He has a good eye, good designer and just an all around good guy…
Smoovebert posted a video of an amazing Garage/Shop FILLED with classic BMX parts, bikes, memorabilia, etc. owned by Brian P. you gotta see this to believe it!!!
BTW, Smoovbert was into sidehacks before they were on Fantasy Factory and was supposed to be in that episode as a matter of fact!
Unreal!
BTW, I grew up riding Redline’s, Diamondbacks and more with Skyways standard! My dad owned a bike shop when I was growing up in the bay area…
This Friday and weekend in the Bay Area San Jose to be exact…
Keeping it in the Bay Area REBEL8 will be attending, displaying, selling and even creating a limited edition Tee and poster for the San Jose Tattoo Convention, Oct 30th- Nov 1st
The one and only artist behind R8, Mike Giant will be available to sign your tee or your poster, Joshy D. says bring a silver Sharpie of course….
Only 168 of these tee’s, I might need to make a call for somebody to get one for me…
$20 for the poster, GET IT before they’re all GOT!
Then if you’re in my neck of the woods in Scottsdale, AZ!
Come out to the bike ride bar crawl, it’s soooo much fun! RAGE CYCLES in Scottsdale, AZ is organizing it they rule!
My boy Kenta (Tokyo Drive) asked me AGES ago about featuring me in his new magazine that’s coming out, fast forward to some magazine title name changes and months later they present Axel Speed Magazine from Japan from makers of Daytona Magazine…
Thanks Kenta, my son and wife were stoked…
Seeing how the Bimmer is gone as of tonight, it’s nice to have documentation of the whip and fam of course…
Here’s the cover featuring Travis Barker and GUMBALL 3000, again good company and projects I worked on…
Here’s my feature, I have NO IDEA what it says though, haha

Oh yeah I’ll be there MC’ING THE EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let’s SEND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAYLIGHT
we cut the legs off of our pants
threw our shoes into the ocean
sit back and wave through the daylight
sit back and wave through the daylight
slip and slide on subway grates
these shoes are poor mans ice skates
fall through like change in the daylight
fall through like change in the daylight
i miss yellow lines in my roads
some color on monochrome
maybe i’ll paint them in myself
maybe i’ll paint them in myself
these sidewalks liquid then stone
building walls and an old pay phone
it rings like all through the daylight
it rings like all through the daylight
chorus
and in the daylight we can hitchhike to maine
i hope that someday i’ll see without these frames
and in the daylight i don’t pick up my phone
cause in the daylight anywhere feels like home
I have five clocks in my life
and only one has the time right
i’ll just unplug it for today
ill just unplug it for today
open hydrant rolled down windows
this car might make a good old boat
and float down grand street in daylight
and float down grand street in daylight
and with just half of a sunburn
new yellow lines that i earned
step back and here comes the night time
step back and here comes the night time
chorus
and in the daylight we can hitchhike to maine
i hope that someday i’ll see without these frames
and in the daylight i don’t pick up my phone
cause in the daylight anywhere feels like home
“In A Big Country”
Come up screaming
Come up screaming
I’ve never seen you look like this without a reason
Another promise fallen through
Another season passes by you
I never took the smile away from anybody’s face
And that’s a desperate way to look
For someone who is still a child
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lover’s voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you can’t stay here with every single hope you had shattered
I’m not expecting to grow flowers in a desert
But I can live and breathe
And see the sun in wintertime
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lover’s voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
Stay alive
So take that look out of here it doesn’t fit you
Because it’s happened doesn’t mean you’ve been discarded
Pull up your head off the floor—come up screaming
Cry out for everything you ever might have wanted
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you can’t stay here with every single hope you had shattered
I’m not expecting to grow flowers in a desert
But I can live and breathe
And see the sun in wintertime
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lover’s voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive (repeat 3)
