What’s for lunch | Blowfish… blew

Today my co-workers wanted to get out and away from the usual cafeteria food… so we headed down to Santana Row to check out the ?eyecandy? and eat…
While I was walking over to Blowfish I peeped this GT3… I’ll usually stop for a nice car especially when is white!

So we ordered the usual Japanese apps like Edamame and stuff – par for the course. And then we asked for some sort of Omakase sashimi plate… the waiter brought us 2xToro, Hamachi, Ika, Saba, Sake, Hirame and ShiroM

So let me break this down…
Toro – the cuts were small and still semi-frozen??? WTH for what is suppose to be the best part of the fish!!!
Hamachi – Standard back cuts but all of the legit Omakase stuff I’ve had were belly cuts.
Ika – Okay I guess Squidd is uhhh shocking?
Saba, Sake and Hirame – were good but better than the Toro?
ShiroM – Uhhh yah good thing it was seared on the outside and had the pickled ginger on it.

Best part of lunch was probably on the way out… the hostess was kind cute. The bill was way too high for the quantity and quality of sashimi we got. Probably won’t head back there again… I’m an avid sushi eater so if I’m gonna pay semi-dollar it better be worth it.
As you can tell I’m a bit of a food snob… at least you won’t have to waste your money!
