My new Canon 5D2 was delivered earlier this week so I took a few shots to break her in. Luckily my girl had a basketball game that night so I decided to see how this thing compares to my 1D3. Here’s the first shot out of body and resized – I must say the IQ on this body is awesome. Glass 24-70 f/2.8 – shots: ISO 3200 f/2.8 1/250

Definitely IMPRESSED!!! – I will be carrying this around with me everywhere! I probably won’t shoot action with this body – I’ll leave that to the 1D3 but definitely everything else! Gotta get on that video tip… definitely gonna hook up with iPhilms for edu on that!
