This is when stuff starts getting good!  All the goodies start arriving… bling, not so bling and them bells and whistles!  I was amp’d when I got the call from the warehouse guys at work I had a bunch of boxes from Ed @ Mackin.  Whether it’s ridin’ dirty on the street or trying to break records on the track… I prefer to look gangsta sittin on TE37’s!  A definite must have for the summer track fit. Thought it would be good to start with the last VERTEX car I built a few years back – it’s since moved onto another owner and looks completely different.  I miss this car… but who knows maybe I’ll forget all about it after the ONE SIX is done!  I want to thank Takahiro Ueno, Hiromasa, Dat and Pete for all their help with the support for that car.  I’m glad we can work together again on this build! After searching the www all night it was back to DGR to take out the rest of the interior but had some hiccups cuz of all the damn screws under the dash holding the harness.  I guess it’s a “luxury” car thing?  If you do remove a dash… remember to wear gloves unless you want busted up hands after!!!

Now when you get to this step good luck… I suppose I could’ve cut the tabs/tape/ties securing the harness but I didn’t want to for some reason?!?!

I will be doing most if not all the work at DGR Fab with the help of some awesome friends from time to time – Dan doing most of the craziness of course!  Today Daren came by the shop to help me start ripping out the clean luxury interior out of the 16*.  Gotta make sure it’s clean in there before Dan gets to the cage work and the car goes off to paint!

A day at DGR wouldn’t start right if you didn’t say “Hi” to Tucker… here’s his “WTH are you gonna do now?” look – I guess he’s always thinking that cuz his expression don’t change much.
