what’s good in Socal

Not much right now. Everything is on fire!!! The smoke was terrible over the weekend. Instead of rain we had ash coming down like snow. I felt sick most of the day on saturday… dunno if that was because of the night before or something to do with the smoke. I didn’t make it out to Redbull like I promised myself I was. My front right axle is out on my STI. I did make it out to a charity in my sisters car on Saturday night. That was about it. Hopefully these fires chill out soon.

I had to get this. The price was too good to pass up. It’s small, light, affordable, does alot, and a good alternative to the “I” stuff.

quick Vegas trip

In true LA form I cut out directly after work on Friday to hit up Vegas for a chill session and to get away. It’s always nice getting out there. I was telling friends they don’t spare a dime out there when they build something. There is some new living communities coming up that are hardcore.

Drifting: Mad Mike’s Red Bull RX7 launch party

If you haven’t hear of Mad Mike from New Zealand check out some videos from him on youtube. He recently picked up a sponsorship from Red Bull so we may start to see more of him in the States. I remember seeing him drift his white FD3S at D1 end of 07. The car was intense!

Nice Parking buddy!

I was waiting in a parking garage for a friend, and this dude pulls in across from me Ateam status, backs it up one time and pulls it back in and parks… I would say one wheel in the other parking spot would qualify as a bad parking job! The side of his truck was literally at the doors of the other car.

HellaFlush submission 07 STI

What does it take to be hellaflush? Well offset is everything if you already didn’t know. It’s a combo of everything combined. Wheel offset, tires, ride height, and camber are just a few of the things required. This 07 STI comes out of Los Angeles and rolls on 18×10 Advan RS and Advan RG2. He has a full set of both wheels. They are mounted on 265/35/18 tires. To complete the outside he has a Chargespeed CF lip kit, Voltex rear diffuser, Ganador mirrors, and JDM rain guards.
