Formula 1 - Round 06 MONACO - Qualifying
Felipe Massa (1st, Q3 - 1m 15.787s) will start the Monaco Grand Prix from pole position after Ferrari put on a stunning display in Saturday’s qualifying session to keep both McLarens behind them, with Kimi Raikkonen (2nd, Q3 - 1m 15.815s) taking second place from Lewis Halmiton (3rd, Q3 - 1m 15.839s) and Heikki Kovalainen (4th, Q3 - 1m 16.165s).

The last time we saw a Ferrari on Pole was on the hands of Michael Schumacher in 2000 and the last time we saw a Ferrari wining this Grand Prix was in 2001 on the hands of the same German (MS).

The Formula One field has yet to experience a wet race in 2008. Furthermore, should rain fall during Sunday’s event, it will be the first Grand Prix run in such conditions since the abolition of traction control at the start of this season, a factor that could have a major impact on the result, given the already miniscule margin for error around the Monaco streets.
The race runs over 78 laps or 260.520 kilometres (161.887 miles) and will start at 1400 hours local time, which is 1200 hrs GMT.
