I see Black & White…
… at least for the last couple of weeks. All i’ve been carrying out of my house is my Canon SLR (EOS Elan 7) 35mm.
Loaded with a T-Max 400 Professional Black & White film @ ISO-400 I’m ready to take on the world! (or at least NYC for now…)
I’ve found myself in the middle of some interesting event while carrying this camera… for example, on my way to the train station in Brooklyn a car burst out in flames…
Luckily, no one got hurt – the driver parked the car on the side and called the 911 which only took about 4-5mins to get to the scene – but by that time, the car had the whole front end burnt :\
Most of my pictures consist of sign, object, landscape and/or portraits – Yes, we can call this baby steps (for now). I have been trying to adapt on using the camera’s settings/buttons/interface as well as how the camera reacts to focusing on moving objects. I mean I don’t want to spend time/money in order to get unwanted results but i have to understand that this is all part of the learning curve.
I will test my luck on drifting this weekend in Atlanta… but for now I will leave you with this Sad Panda…
Check out my 35mm Flickr Set for more photos.
