2009 Grammys
The Grammys went off last night. I haven’t really paid much attention to the show in years, but this year I decided to check it. Some hits and misses.
HITS:
- “Swagga Like Us” Performance with MIA (9 months preggers – crazy!), Kanye, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and T.I. w/ my homie DJ Reflex
– MIA killing it on the red carpet
- Radiohead’s performance of “15 Step” w/ the USC marching band
- Taylor Swift… just because
and her duet with Miley Cyrus
- Justin Timberlake and T.I “Dead and Gone”
- Carrie Underwood’s outfit …. this is border line hit and miss for me the sleeves are just too pirate style
MISSES:
- Katy Perry performance of “I Kissed a Girl” – so much potential and complete failure. The chiquita banana outfit doesn’t help much and neither does her lack of dance skills.
but she looked good on the Red Carpet
- Chris Brown and Rihanna missing the Grammys due to Brown and his alleged assault of Rihanna.
- Coldplay’s crayola looking outfits
