Recently Ill Poetik from the Filipino hip hop group Deep Foundation hit me up via this blog.  He saw that I posted a video of their “Children of the Sun” video.  I became a fan of the song after hearing UFC “Ultimate Fighter” contender Phillipe Nover walk out to their song as it represented his Filipino pride and heritage.

Deep Foundation was in the Bay Area not too long ago filming for the music video for this song and wanted to stop by the Fatlace store, but didn’t have a chance to.  (Guys make sure to stop by next time and I’ll let the guys know)
