A Bugs Life

I really enjoyed the Bugs Life section at Disneyland and seeing it from their perspective. The design and layout was top notch. I wonder if the animators and artist of the movie ever thought they would have a section of disneyland. Must be nice and probably thee highlight of their careers.

Cleaning House

Yesterday I spent alot of my time in my garage cleaning out junk that basically sat there for the last year. Most of the junk was there when I got the house but I never had time to clear it out. While sifting through the junk, I located something I thought would only be in my memories from yesteryear. My first Mixer. I went to Radio Shack the day after we graduated from 8th grade and picked up this Realistic Mixer and 2 Technique belt driven turntables that we added numbers to cause they didn’t have any way to tell how fast or slow you were going. Brooklyn was in the garage and found a few things that interested her.

The Oakland Raiders

Was a HUGE fan of the Raiders back in the day. I actually wore a Raiders helmet when I was 3 years old for a year due to a head injury so going to watch a live game brought back some memories. Ariel invited us to watch the Raiders play the Chiefs at the Coliseum. Got there at halftime. Lucky for the suite tickets and parking, the walk wasn’t very far.

A week ago Katie and Amrafel got married at the Legion of Honour. Felt like I was in Paris as the Legion of Honor is a three-quarter-scale adaptation of the 18th-century Palais de la Légion d’Honneur in Paris. Sweet. Here’s some shots from the G10.

A couple days ago I canceled a trip to Japan to hang out with Amrafel for his Bachelor’s Weekend. It was a night huge steaks and some fine entertainment. Can’t show many photo’s but here’s a few..

Monterey for some R&R.

A well deserved break after launching (and still improving) Nikesportswear.com. With the Family at Monterey. If you’re ever in this neck of the woods, stay at the Intercontinental Hotel. It’s pretty fresh. I brought the 5D with me to capture while the DMC-LX2 is on a break.

Unofficial Father Daughter Day at MotoGP

For the last 10 years, I’ve been going to Laguna Seca for some kind of Superbike Race. This year there was no way we were going to miss MotoGP, the most exciting motorcycle racing series. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), coming off some amazing wins and Casey Stoner (DUC) were the top favorites. Brooklyn, almost 3, woke up at 6am and was ready to head to the track.
