I wouldnt mind tearing down our house and slapping in a couple of prefabs. The old days of building homes is over. Being conscious of the environment, using sustainable wood like maple or cane, and going green seems to be the way to go. In anycase, modulars have been satisfying alot of people with green in mind.

What I’d like to know is who was more high thinking this one up. Kanye or Spike? Creating something like this takes quite the imagination and hats off. Definitely can relate to some scenes and I’m sure it’s going on in Kanye’s head every day.

A Week To Remember pt.3: HF3

Leading up to Hellaflush 3, an event we put on to show our love for cars and their owners obsession with having the correct offset, I was a bit more excited for this event than our 10 Year Party. It’s cause I’m a huge fan of the automobile and Fatlace is going to be around for many more years…

Chris from Alpinestars hit me up and cruised by to shoot video and capture sound files for a video they’re making for Apex Initiative the day before and timed it so they cruised by the show as well. What amazed me the most was the amount of people that cruised by the show. I would guestimate approximately 1500 people throughout the day. At one point in the show, I saw a sea of people and thought, whoa.. this is amazing.

A Week To Remember pt.2 – Fatlace 10 Year

So we had grand plans for a 10 Year Party. At one time, I contacted Wale’s camp to bring them out to Japan so we could have part 2 of our 10 Year Party there. With the new baby due any day now, I had to alter plans and really wanted to celebrate with close friends and family. Thanks to everyone that came out to the Store and to the Lounge. I’m very happy to have such a great network of friends that help support this vision.

A Week to Remember pt.1: S14 Update

Alpinestars came to visit this weekend. We’re working on something and passed by the S14 at DGR Performance to see where we’re at with the build. Here’s a ton of photos from the visit.

The kit is only clear taped mocked up. It’ll be bolted thru this week and then riveted after paint.

John and Kenta came up from LA and Tokyo for the event and rolled with us to check out the 14.

This bodykit and wing makes the car so different. The wheels especially being super close to the fender. I went to the shop today, mocked it all up for the Alpinestars guys. A little teaser for you. I honestly haven’t been this excited for my car to be done.

Illest Packing Tape

I decided to design some packing tape since we’re pushing Illest as an apparel line offshoot by fatlace. Cover anything you want with a roll. Your bumper, your table, your bike, pack boxes, etc. Fun stuff..

The Night Shift

Its funny, there’s a bunch of friends I can count on being online this time of the night. Usually I sign off around 1-2am (the kids wake up around 630) and they’re still on and active. Not sure what they’re doing but we do have one thing in common and that’s sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation is a sleep disorder characterized by having too little sleep. It can be either chronic or acute. I’m sure its not good but many of you know me and I’m busy every minute of the day. Designing, Talking with people and just making things happen.

I’m not sure about the generation before us but I’m pretty sure our generation is the first to be constantly ON. We watch TV and have the laptop on our laps surfing at the same time, we have our phone (sometimes 2) on us at all times, we’re constantly plugging away at our navigation. It’s crazy if you really think about it.

Anyways, thought I’d bring it up since sleep is definitely something I should have more of. Do you sleep enough?
