I'm into everything Cars, Architecture and Design. I was Born in 1972 in San Francisco. In 1986, I was into breaking, graffiti, and djing. I've worked for agencies for almost a decade, worked for big brands like Gap and most recently was the Global Digital Lead for Nike Sportswear. I founded Fatlace in 1999 and create things.
Had a little gathering at the new Portland pad today. Pizza and Krispy Kremes were served. Robby was here visiting from San Francisco. He’s helping me with Nike Sportswear Online. Should be a good and challenging 6 months. One thing, if you come by my house, you’re encouraged to take a photo in my little shooting studio.
Jonas and Lauren visited today. If you haven’t heard of Jonas Greenberg, you will soon…
Robby and Jonas. Robby’s showing off his JDM Insider Wrestling Pose.
Jonas Greenberg: The Man, The Myth. Modeling Fatlace. Awesome.
Remember, Fatlace Denim drops this weekend only in Fatlace San Francisco & Fatlace Shibuya.
Again, it’s not a new electronic band but it’s actually Bruce’s Birthday at 5 Guys Burger Joint in Beaverton. 2nd time going and it was packed as usual. Leaving the parking garage that day, I saw some cool bus’s on campus. Oh how I miss my bus…
There are so many influences in life. From your parents teaching you the ways to go about life and what direction you should take at those critical times when you’re challenged to either go right or left. Thinking back to a few conversations I had today, I’m especially grateful for what I’ve accomplished and try to never let it get to my head.
From these influences you learn alot. You learn because you were stubborn enough to go the other route and because you pushed in the other direction. Doing these types of things make you an individual and make you basically either learn or flourish from your decision.
Design is one of those things in life I always try to push myself in thinking about experiences and finding something in those experiences and exploit it in the design. It doesnt take much to be influenced by a design nor is there anything wrong with being influenced. Designing from experience is something I rely on to help it get to where it needs to get.
As I get older and as the hours fly by, I know there’s something I can count on when visiting our Fatlace network and that is watching people like Emily improve her eye for photography not only because she’s pushing for it but because she’s learning and listening to people around her. From Jessica asking me about things and wondering what her next step is to not asking and breaking away from the hype by taking the time to think about where she needs and wants to be in a few years.
Don’t just think about how something you do or design today can benefit you 2 weeks from now but think about how it can propel you in life.

They have nothing in common but I did see all 3 in a span of 1 hour when I was going to the SF Auto Show to pick up the S14. It was so odd to wake up and see the truck. I thought to myself, if its new, why would it be wrapped. Walked up to it and saw the saran boxes on the floor. What it must be like being 16 again..
