I tend to relax more this time of year. It’s the only time in the year I turn things off and take a little time reflecting on what I did this year and what I’m about to do next. I’m grateful for everything that’s happened to the brand(s) and excited for things to come.

Here’s some randomness from this week…

The Illest Yoyo’s came in. A collaboration with the awesome cats from Caribou Lodge. This is pro stuff, not your regular everyday yoyo.

Fatlace X Rays Engineering

It’s official. I’m excited to announce that the Fatlace Design Group will be producing a special line of apparel in collaboration with Rays Engineering. We’ll be releasing products throughout 2010 and plan to have our first product out this December. Stay tune for more 2010 announcements in the following weeks.

Giants vs. Dodgers

Tomorrow is going to be a pretty fun day at ATT Park. Not only are the Giants playing the Dodgers but we’ll also be able to watch Brooklyn and her cousins Jaida and Rhea on the field with the players right before the game representing Team Fatlace. The season for the Giants seem to be slipping away with the last 2 losses but I’m sure itll be fun to watch all the kids on the field wearing Team Fatlace X Bank of America X Giants tees.

The entire family will be rocking gear.

They’ll be wearing a Triple Colab with the Giants, Bank of America and of course, Fatlace. It should be fun to watch them on the field. Photos soon..

Fatlace X Bowls LA Ruckus

So a few months ago Al said he was going down to LA for some Ruckus meet and race. I took that opportunity to ask him if he’d drop my ruckus off to Brandon at Bowls to get a complete makeover.

Already spending over 2500 on the Ruckus, I really wanted to create something different. The only problem was time which I didn’t have. So I contacted Brandon over at Bowls to go YoGabbaCrazy on it. He asked what my budget was and we worked off that. As you can see, the bike turned out great. Sick colorway with the Brooks color leather saddle.

Alpinestars X Fatlace @Agenda

Please check out the Alpinestars booth at Agenda this week as we showcase 2 double label products. Here’s a few shots of the details of the suit. Full on shots will be released tomorrow. As for the shoe, we’ll release them tomorrow. Also be on the lookout for Alyasha’s work with Alpinestars. It’ll be great!

First off a racing suit which is one of a kind. A hybrid suit built for both Karting and In-Car Racing. Nomex fireproof and all. I got the first sample and they personalized it. No word on production but definitely something to look forward to for those that race.

T19 X Yoyogi Park X HipHop

You think the 3 don’t have anything to do with each other but they actually do. T19 X Yoyogi Park = Night Track Sprints. I’ll get to the hip hop later.. Anyways, we got to the races a bit late only cause we walked freekin humid ass Tokyo from 930am – 10pm (see previous post ).

Yoyogi Park is just around the corner from Harajuku station. If you’re getting off, take the Omotosando Street Exit, bust a right and walk past the plaza where all the weirdo’s and costume kids hang out and then you’ll be at the park.

Good to see Tetsuji of FTC and his lady there.

YU shot the cover for Japan’s latest fix/track/pista magazine called LOOP. Here he is holding up the cover. It comes out today.

At the After Party at UC.
Ever since I’ve been coming to Tokyo, the hectic crew has always been known to play the best Hip Hop and had a step in front of most brands when it comes to knowing what’s next. The DJ played only vinyl, All old school. No serato kids and it was great.
