I took a trip to Beijing, China a few months ago for the Olympics. First time there so a group of us went to the Great Wall. I had my flip camera and decided to film the whole walk down. It took approximately 15 minutes to walk down the very uneven steps.
Note: In this video, you’ll see some familiar faces. Try to see if you can name a few.
Headed to Alex “Retrokids” house on Monday for some Rock Band and Heroes. Nike heads Tung, Denise, Alex and Phil all had our chance but in the end, Denise and Alex killed it.
There are a few perks at Nike that I know would be missed if I ever leave. One big one is seeing product make it from a sketch to the final product. Case in point.. Check out this ULTRA limited Kaws double label using the latest Nike Air Max 90 Current and AM90 which I believe is the ultimate SLEEPER. If you ever get a chance to get a pair, you’ll know what Im talking about.
These particular Current’s are only available at 21 Mercer in NYC or at the Montalban in LA. Lines have already begun forming and the shoe drops this October 18th, a day before Mines and the longest blogger post nominee, Jarod’s birthday.
A few friends of mines, Omar and Jonas worked on this one. You can download the tracks on iTunes. Good stuff fella’s. Lupe had a track but it didn’t get clearance. Enjoy that here.
Well, the shoe blog is resurrected. Here we have the Nike Free Everyday. Honestly, you have to put those bear claws of yours into these. ULTRA comfortable.
Boy, today was crazy. There was an earthquake that hit China today and we felt it all the way in Beijing. It was 7.8 on the Richter Scale. That means it was freekin HUGE. We were swaying for about 40 seconds. I thought something was wrong with my equilibrium but when I looked up and saw all the lights swaying. HUGE.
Anyways, we’re off to Day 1 for Nike Guests to see what they’re here for… Just so you know, I will not be showing off any photos of the event until tomorrow. The will be on the main page of the site as well as many blogs and news sites around the globe.
Waiting in the Lobby of the Peninsula.

Nike 100 at Space 706. 1 word. Awesome. Photos later of this.
So to welcome all of Nike’s guest (influencers, actors, artists), Nike threw a dinner at the infamous Lam Club. Honestly, I’ve never been to a bigger venue in my life. It’s like the ground floor of the Wynn Hotel in Vegas but no gambling. Huge.
A speech from the creative mind of Richard Clark.
Mmm. Food. Pumpkin soup? Lamb Chop.. There was about 8 -10 dishes. Crazy..
Our table consisted of Parkes (Nike), Aaron Rose (Beautiful Losers), Paul (Stussy), Clark (Nike), Phillip, and the infamous Eddy (undftd). Good conversations throughout..
Paul, Richard, and Aaron. The food was mesmerizing..
