MOVEMENTS
Barry and I made a trip to socal last weekend that he can get some track time at Drift Day 41. We were supposed to leave at 2pm but ended up leaving at 7pm since we had to work on the car after his last incident. We finally arrived at Lance hood at 12 am and instead of taking a rest for next day event he drag us to a few parties where the hipsters are in full effect. The after party ended up at some mansion somewhere in socal that had some sluts and whores cool peeps and remy xo pouring in all our cups like it was water and the party didn’t stop till 6 in the mornin’. Thanks to the homie Lance for being the host this weekend, greatly appreciate it. We finally left the party at 6am and head towards El Toro Field where we can enjoy safely by smashing our cars sideways. Don’t ever go to Irvine, Ca. without any change or 0.75 cents to be exact.
Barry drove for 30 minutes then I drove for 1 minute and broke 3rd gear. That ended our day at El Toro and drove to a few places see if we could find a transmission before leaving home since we drove the corrora with no trailer, just pack of tires, rims, 20v itb’s, no heater with very loud exhaust and uncomfortable bucket seat driving for 6 hour straight but we do have a/c. We ended going back to Lance F. house waiting for a transmission to rain and I got hungry so I called a few friends to come out for dinner at my favorite spot, Gyu-Kaku.
Logan from ASPEC came out and I’ve e-known this dude for awhile but never really hanged out until now. He’s been around the industry for awhile and chatted about marketing, trends, moments in the industry and all the cupcaker’s.
“Industry is dead.” The car industry hasn’t been the same for years now. Who’s to blame? Is it the people behind the industry, the media or the market? Is it you? I think us all fall victims at one point, and forget to appreciate the right people that have helped shaped up this industry. Some of the new era that are just coming around act like they’ve been here forever, and its obvious because last week, month or last year they weren’t there to support our lifestyle and they weren’t participating in our sport that we’ve all participated first hand. Its whack because new drivers (like myself) have fell into that section of trying to come up and taking whatever handed in our hand but not realizing you are helping a soft ass company trying to make that quick buck. Sooner or later you’ll realize they were just a bunch of faggots money hungry and we were too caught up to see the reality and became a faggot cupcakin mofo.
I think most of us are at the point were the things we love that we can’t even do since it’s gotten corny as fuck and hate to be associated with that stuff. Everyone needs to come together and help the right people in this industry.
After all, its human nature to get caught up with all the bullshit so shame on you and shame on me.
