I don't know man. A 1jz is very capable. I went to a supra dyno day where the highest HP supra there had a 1jz making 650rwhp. Max output on a 1jz is around 900whp. A 2jz can do a bit better. Are you really going to be pushing the limits like that anyway? The 1jz will be a little cheaper. It revs higher stock. Your choice.
